You don't get it I guess? Somebody steps to you like that in the hood, they're openly disrespecting/bitching you and daring you to do something about it. That is the exact message that sends. I don't react if they're strapped because that's suicide. The problem is in a rough part of the city, not standing up for yourself signals you are an easy victim type of person. That's why people from those neighborhoods react that way. It isn't about violence or that ahole video creator would be dead or at the very least beat up. It's about a basic level of respect on the street. A lack of it is dangerous. Would I do that in a nice suburban neighborhood, no. There is a different set of rules and code of honor there. If somebody threw up a gang sign in Beverly Hills, I'm laughing my ass off right in their face and telling them to walk their poser ass away.
