Hi TopNotch: You could make the same joke, that you are a non-speaker, saying HELLO with sign language, when they get aggressive and fool you, you will show them a paper banner with the alphabet in signs. This is how we raise awareness of inclusive language and thus normalize it more. We teach that there are more forms of communication and not every sign means something aggressive.
