Geesh, I know it! I still have hope one day they will. They've made candles, wallflower fragrance bulbs, and hand soap in Coconut Lime Verbena in the last 1-3 years on and off, so I know they still have it on their minds! 🤞🥥 We are ready for it to come back in a body care line!

Great video! I was in my mid 20s and I remember both cherry blossom and Japanese cherry blossom. I loved both scents. I had the taller bottle and used it more for evening/date night scent. JCB to my nose smells more floral now. I haven’t tried in on my skin but was turned off when I spritzed the sample card. Back then there was a spicy note at least that’s what it smelled like to me and I would get compliments. Cozy Evening shower gel reminds me of old JCB. Last month I found my bottle of body splash but got rid of it since it only smelled like alcohol. I took a picture to remember the old packaging, lol. Cherry blossom was my daytime scent and it was fruitier then. I didn’t like the formula they had for SAS last winter I think it was, definitely more floral. It’s interesting to see how much they have changed over the years. Thank you for this series.

Thanks for watching! 😊 Oh yeah, I remember when Japanese Cherry Blossom had that tall and skinny glass bottle perfume. It looked so fancy! Yes, I agree that Cherry Blossom used to be more fruity than it is now. I like it better fruitier! And I can't exactly recall what JCB smelled like back in the day, but I feel like you're right. The JCB of today seems really musky and slightly old lady like compared to how I thought it was. Although, it might just be a body chemistry thing...I know florals do me dirty on my skin! 🤣 Oh wow, I never associated Cozy Evening to old JCB...now I need to go resniff it sometime!

I loved HIM back in the day as well.

*Story Time:* My local mall that had a Arcade, in it was DDR! I remember seeing teens crowding around DDR were 2 sweaty guys (rarely girls) mosely Goth w/the baggy pants lots of chains. (isn't that funny!? goths & DDR) It smell when u entered was like stinky feet (to help u slide on the DDR floor) lol My 1st ever B&BW item that started it ALL was, Warm Vanilla Sugar in a frosted creamy white in color glass like bottle. Then my mom bought me Dark Kiss, Carried Away then, Butterfly Flower in their square taller perfume bottles with the tall clear cap. Remember those? The Good Olé Days!! I wonder if B&BW as a Co. ever using those times as inspiration or do they see it as "Out dated/that was then this is now?" Ppl want to re-live their past. Plus it would sell it if they would not touch the scent to reformulat!! Lol Can't wait for pt. 3 😁

YES! Our DDR machine in the arcade was also surrounded by sweaty teen boys with the black baggy pants with chains too! That was the vibe! 🤣 Who knows how the goths/DDR combo came to be! We have the exact same memory that way! LOL! Ooo was the Warm Vanilla Sugar kind of in the shape like a vase almost? I think I know what you're talking about. And yes, I do remember all of those scents and the different shaped fine fragrance mists from around 2007-2013ish! I totally agree on wanting to relive the past, and if they made bottles/scents that were paying homage to their old style stuff, I would buy it up! They aaaalmost did in Spring 2019. The body care collection had four scents: Lavender Cotton Flower, Clementine & Mint Leaves, Wild Strawberry, and Apple Blossom. I should have bought them all. Dark green caps, heartland farmstand like watercolor imagery, sunburst logo, scents you'd find at the farmer's market. That's the closest I've seen to a blast to the past collection from BBW!

YAY part 2 - I clicked so fast! Green Clover & Aloe... I could cry. I still have a splash left and it's so grassy and sweet. The shower gel and lotion were heavenly to me. I still have an exotic coconut body spray too (not the glitter one). I remember reading some people said the Exotic Coconut lotion made their skin feel hot and it happened to me too lol, like a chemical reaction. I remember that old Christmas set with the plaid. And I also think the VBN lotion used to smell SOOOO good. Today it's only a shadow of what it once was.

Yes, part 2 is fully loaded and part 3 is on the way next Monday! 😍 Aw man, I'm wondering that maybe my Green Clover Aloe stuff turned because a lot of people seem to like it! 😂 Poor thing, mine was stinky! 🍀 Yeah, it seems to be a running thing with some of their coconut products. I have some Coconut CocoShea products (2017-2019) that make my skin warm when I use it too. Not necessarily in a bad way just unlike anything else I use. Weird! 🤔 I know what you mean about Vanilla Bean Noel; I had customers come in and complain about it and at the time I didn't really recall what VBN smelled like from 2013 and earlier so I just shrugged it off. It's sad when a lotion from 2009 smells better than a lotion from 2021 that's supposed to be the same scent! I hope they notice and get it right once and for all this Christmas! 🥰

LOVE your videos! It was difficult to catch the scent notes at the end for comparing fig to twilight woods. Was so quick! Can't wait for the rest of the series.

Twilight Woods: lush berry, sparkling mandarin, soft mimosa, apricot nectar, and cypress woods Festive Vanilla Fig: fresh fig nectar, poached peach, vanilla extract, and rum drizzle Similar in the sense that they both have stone fruits paired with creamy and woodsy notes!

Ohhhh girl I was and am a HIM fan💜💜 The first scent I got from Bath and Bodywork’s was Strawberry Lemonade 🍓🍋 If I remember correctly it was only released 1 or 2 times. I think it was in the late 1990’s. My friends mom would bring her to the mall and they would pick up tons of lotions and body sprays. She would bring them to my house and we would try them all😂💜 Good times 💜 Great video series by the way!!!! 💜

Yes, I still am too! I like listening especially in the fall when I'm more in the mood for spooky season, and for memories sake because I have memories of listening to HIM during the Fall especially as a teenager! My favorite right now is Sleepwalking Past Hope. 😆 How about you? I've seen pictures of the Strawberry Lemonade with the late 90s packaging! It was so adorable! 🍓🍋 Aw that's such a nice memory! 🤗

How fun!!! 💗💗💗💗 If I had to choose only one desert island fragrance, it would be Cherry Blossom. I loved it in the early 2000's and continue to love it to this day. I never buy back-ups in any fragrance EXCEPT CB, and as of today, it's no longer on BBW's site. I realize Japanese Cherry Blossom is a bestseller for BBW, but I can't stand that scent.

I loved Cherry Blossom back in the earlier 2000's it was one of.my favorites, I think I bought the last one around 2011. I bought it again at either the last summer or winter SAS but it didn't smell at all the same to me, I don't remember there being a watermelon note in the one from earlier 2000's and the new one doesn't have much fragrance at all. I was really disappointed.

@@dawndupre5240 Hi Dawn. I always used to buy either the lotion or FFM, and I bought the cream about 7 years ago and it was AWFUL and didn't smell at all like the lotion or FFM. Back then I didn't realize you could exchange products, so I just dumped the three creams I purchased. At that time, I thought BBW had changed the scent, so I didn't purchase again for several years but once it was on sale during one of the SASs, I purchased the lotion and was pleased it was the same old original scent. I still absolutely adore the scent, but there are also some new favorites. I bought the cream in Pink Chiffon during the last SAS, and it just didn't smell the same as the lotion or FFM. Maybe it's an ingredient in the cream? Not sure as I typically love most of the creams. Glad to know there is another Cherry Blossom lover out there! 💗💗 Do you like Japanese Cherry Blossom? I know it's a bestseller for BBW, but I just can't stand the scent in body care, but it's alright in home fragrance.

I forgot to mention the "watermelon" note.... not sure if they had that scent note listed in the original scent notes or not. I am blind so I'm unable to look at an older bottle and tell you. If it's on the computer, I use text-to-speech technology that reads the text out loud to me. I rarely use Cherry Blossom now, but in my opinion, it still smells the same... except for the cream. lol

You are so right about Coconut Lime Verbena and Coconut Lime Breeze. Similar but Not. I'm using up a CLV shower gel now. They brought it back in 2015 in a shower gel only collection. It's wonderful but time to use it up!💙💙🤍🤍💙💙🤍🤍

Oh my goodness! I vaguely remembered what you were referring to with the shower gel-only collection, so I looked it up and found pictures of them and I remember them!! I didn't buy any of them but that was right about when I started working there. The bottles are so cute, and there were so many scents! 😍

another video loved, i miss this time! i am laughing because i was what i thought was goth during that time too.: x & i loved DDR! it was all the rage back then. do you remember a singing competition game called singstar?? you could sing solo or compete against someone else with microphones... no one remembers this when I talk about it but it was basically competitive karaoke lol

Thank you, Samantha! I know the memories from this era crack me up for some reason, they are so specific! Yeah, I know the scene trend was starting around this time. I wasn't necessarily full-on goth, but I definitely wasn't into the scene fad, I was closer to goth.. 🤣 I did the raccoon eyes, only wore black or gray, and color only was worn paired with black! Hahaha listened to HIM, The Rasmus, Green Day, Panic at the Disco, Tokio Hotel, etc! 🤣 I vaguely remember Singstar though I don't think I ever played it! I remember hearing about it and I think I had a friend who was into it for a while! Lol I know Guitar Hero, and later Rockband kind of took over!

Oh man, such a throw back! Speaking of shimmer lotion, my mom had a Warm Vanilla Sugar shimmer lotion in a holiday packaging back in 2000 or 2001...I'm surprised I still don't have the bottle because it lived in our house for so long! 😋

Coconut Lime Verbena was one of the first Bath and Body Works mists that I bought, I absolutely loved it and have been trying to find it for a long time to no avail. I really wish they would bring it back in the same exact fragrance smell. Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cherry Blossom were also my favorites around then. I wasn't really familiar with Bath and Body Works until then, probably around 2005, and I was in my 30's so I don't know where I was when it was so popular.

I mentioned to someone else that I have seen them dabble around with Coconut Lime Breeze in home fragrance (there was a candle Spring 2022, and wallflower bulbs in 2019-2020) as well as a hand soap in I want to say 2018. The last time I saw body care of it was in 2015 only as a shower gel...so they haven't forgotten about it completely, I just hope they bring it back in a full body care line! 🤞🥰 I know what you mean, I have a couple of "lost years" myself when it comes to BBW. Sometimes I see pictures of products from 2008-2012 and I'm like "Where was I during those years??" 🤔

The "Skin Therapy" line was called the "Benefits" line originally. Then the Benefit cosmetics company was not cool with this and legal shit happened. They clearanced out everything with the benefits label on it and reintroduced it with "Skin Therapy" label

well, i guess somebody from 2009 didn’t like their christmas present, because they gave it to a goodwill😂😂😂new in package too. that’s kind of funny and also like an “omg” moment to me because it’s like, that person re-gifted their present that somebody probably gave to them and that’s also slightly rude for them to do that too i guess lol😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Yes! I don't really remember them while they were in stores, but I remember seeing pictures and references of them while researching! I love that idea and they totally should do it again! I've also seen the fine fragrance mist straw be decorated like a drink straw with the stripes. They should have done something like the straws or the ice cubes in their recent collection "fruit fizz" with Strawberry Soda, Coconut Pineapple, Mango Mai Tai, Cherry Limeade, etc! 🍹🧊🍸
