I was a 90s girl, but my mom was into beauty products and had a stash that I know I used to raid as a kid. 😅🤣 The rollerball gloss was definitely a very specific memory!

I got my first roller ball lip gloss in the late 70's. They were so yummy! Strawberry, grape and cherry! I found a vintage company that still sells them!

As soon as I saw the watermelon lip gloss that brought back memories, I forgot I even had that until I saw the packaging. My grandma used to buy me the lip glosses all the time 😂. I distinctly remember there being a cotton candy one too but not sure what year that was. I also remember wearing Bali Mango with the bottle that was blue around the sprayer, and had a big flower on the front with red liquid. Then in high school I wore Beautiful Day all the time. I just smelled it in store again recently for the first time in awhile and it smells exactly the same 😂. Then I was on a Forever Red kick and had about everything in that scent. I recently smelled that one too and definitely didn’t feel the same way about it 😅.

Thanks so much, Shelby! 🥰 I liked the old shape too! In a lot of ways the old shape makes more sense to me, like how they fit in the holders without being open-ended like the shape they have now is! I remember that too! I remember some customers wanting to return/exchange their sanitizer holders since they were now useless! Change is rough! 😫

In 2006 and 2007 I remember selling the Breathe line, henri bendel, art stuff, cotton blossom, plumeria, Mango mandarin, cherry blossom, warm vanilla sugar and the shampoos in their pleasures line

This was the time period when I mostly purchased hand sanitizer, Scentportables, and maybe some hand soap from B&BW. I missed out on a lot of good body care scents! I did have a hand cream in Twisted Peppermint that was 2 oz. I finally finished it in 2020. I stayed in hotels in 2017 and 2018 and they still had Rainkissed Leaves and Coconut Lime Verbena products. My parents stayed in one last year and it had AT Eucalyptus Spearmint.

I know exactly what you mean, I missed out on so much during 2008-2013 mainly! Aw good ol Twisted Peppermint! 🍬 I like that one every Christmas time! Oh that's cool they had little aromatherapy products at the hotel. I've seen someone share a picture of At The Beach hair products at a hotel more recently and thought that was pretty neat too!

I remember this era was when the scents had like 20 fragrance notes listed on the back (top, middle and base notes). Check out the Cashmere Glow notes on the B&BW site now compared to what you read from that older one you have lol. Some of the notes aren't even the same anymore! I had that original Comfort mini spray and it was SO GOOD. Also had Jingle Bellini glitter mist. This series is so fun. I love seeing all the old goodies.

I know it kinda drives me nuts when the scents now only list 2-4 notes even though they have more than that! Agreed on Cashmere Glow specifically. Thankfully there is a website called Fragrantica that is essentially a perfume encyclopedia and it tells you the breakdown of so many fragrances, including BBW scents. You might like my upcoming video, I'm showing off a product guide from 2023/14 and it has a page for each signature collection fragrance they had at the time and they describe in depth notes, descriptions, and even the perfumer's vision for creating the scent. It's pretty neat! Aw yeah I was browsing vintage products for fun and found more of that glitter spray collection of the martinis/bellinis/drinks. So fun! 🥂

ugh ikr, bath and body works starts having fall/halloween stuff SO early which annoys me a little bit🙄😐 lol. they even started rolling out the halloween stuff earlier this month and i’m like “noooo i’m not ready for fall yet” lol. (i mean we don’t shop at the store too often but i just keep seeing it on their instagram page) i’m not that big of a halloween person so that could also be a reason why i get annoyed by that, heh

I love Fall, so part of me doesn't mind, but I do also feel like Summer gets left out at BBW. Fall comes so soon, and part of it is they capitalize on Christmas/holiday shopping. So in order to have maximum time to have holiday scents out, they bring those out early too (October, usually) so therefore it pushes everything to be out earlier. Weird retail culture! 😫

Love this series!!!! Do you happen to have a fragrance called pomegranite brown sugar? I STILL remember that frangrance...i think it was from 2008 or 2009....I was so sad when they discontinued it

This series is so much fun and light hearted!! I adore when packaging has sparkle, glitter, landscape design. The whole 9!! My favorite was Summer of '20. I know, they make some great packaging nowadays but there's definitely some packaging things I miss about past collections! 💙 I'm definitely a sucker for Autumn packaging the most! 🍂 I remember that collection! We got them in shipment and just had them out for about a week or so before the COVID lockdown on our store! 😅 No, I don't have a Mercari or sell BBW items. Thanks for your interest though! 🥰

During the hand sanitizer shortage when COVID hit the US, they made a bunch, perhaps using materials/bottles they already had just to keep them massed produced and out there for people to buy. So those ones aren't going to be from 2015 thankfully! Also BBW hand sanitizers have expiration dates on the bottoms since it needs to kill germs effectively! 🧼

They discontinued the lipgloss line im so sad because it was my favorite lip gloss ever !

Hi, Heather! Mainly what happened is I bought stuff with the intention to use it all, but bought multiple products at a time. So I used up lots but while using up others, some got pushed to the back or forgotten. Also with my mom and sister all shopping and using products, it's easy for random products to surface that I didn't necessarily purchase, but someone else in the family did! By the time I found them, I knew they weren't sold and were considered "vintage" and chose not to use them so that I could make my own little museum out of them! 😂 For the later products, mainly the ones in this video, I actually intentionally grabbed old products during the employee MOS sale for collecting purposes (ex: the hand soaps in the thumbnail).
