Looks good. I also don't double-side-tape my batts to the trays, because I use them in different models. I use low-density polyethilene foam (it's the white foam that wraps almost everything I order by mail) stuck with double-sided tape to my battery trays. It uses the the same principle. It may not be as sticky, but once the straps are tight. the battery is going nowhere.

That is a good idea. I’m always afraid of the batteries coming loose in-flight even with Velcro or double-sided tape. This stuff is awesome and definitely worth a shot. That way you can still transfer batteries from model tomorrow and once you put your strap on it’s not going anywhere.

I would like to see a pro pilot test this out - give it the good ol’ shake N bake test - LMAO

Thanks for this I’ve bought one the other day after seeing another video from you, for my RAW 420. Great stuff, much more solid and rigid than velcro 😊 ❤ About this short video, I can see a newbie seeing it without listening to audio at work or somewhere else and don’t receiving your information that it also needs to be fixed with velcro strap on a heli (which of course involves bigger battery weight and much higher INVERTED G forces than any drones even racers) 😢😮 Perhaps you could make another one showing the strap thing??

It is awesome stuff. If they don’t watch the whole video, then that’s on them. They should automatically know you have to run a strap as well. And I even say that in the video. It’s about replacing your Velcro with that instead of using Velcro or double-sided tape. You always need to run a strap.

Didn’t work for me on my raw500. The battery hangs under the tray. The weight of the battery makes the battery drop off after 2 minutes. I still have to use velcro.

I wouldn’t trust it to hold the battery in there. On my drones I’ve built I use the sticky pad and the Velcro strap. A good jolt that battery is coming out

I got ya ! Haha , I don’t use Velcro to hold the battery . So I missunderstood , I took it as throw your Velcro straps away lol . 🤦🏻‍♂️

Wouldn’t it through the time loose the stickiness with dirt and grime and more over with alcohol drying it? I think Velcro will keep the stickiness through years, let me know thanks

I can’t speak on years but so far it’s been great. Super sticky and when it gets dirty I just wipe it off and it’s like new again. Velcro is great but can be a pain and if your moving battery’s to other models and the Velcro is on the wrong side then your adding more Velcro. With this you can just put the battery where ever you want.
