Love all your ideas. The first Cars movie is based on my Fathers racing career, he drove a Hudson in many NASCAR races.The trophies you see in that movie are sitting on my fireplace mantle. His name was Tim Flock.

Some tips on Balloon Garlands: Keep your quads flat (like a 4-leaf clover) and nest your balloons in the creases of the previous. The first couple of layers it will be hard to keep the quads flat, but it gets easier. Weave your string in a figure-8 around 2 of the balloons in the new quad and tighten into that nest. I prefer kite string--it shows, unlike fishing line, but it's more forgiving. Fishing line can cut your balloons. Double-sided tape works. Rubber cement is also fantastic for sticking things on balloons. That's what I use. (I'm a balloon artist and decorator).

I don’t know how I missed this video! Thankfully, I heard you mention it in you Hobby Lobby shopping video and came to find it! I have a 5 year old that has been a huge CARS fan, he even has a lightening McQueen bed.. I wish we lived closer so I could pass it to Finn to enjoy! Connor is turning 6 next month and is still very much into his hot wheels, but loves watching real races now. He has grown up at local dirt tracks, so he is all about racing! He has to “race” his dad to bed every night, it’s bad here lol.. He wants a racing birthday party, he has ask several friends to bring their race cars to the party. So this helped so very much for decor ideas!!!! I had best get started, I only have a few weeks to get it all together! Thanks! You pulled that together better than a professional party planner! Great job mom! I’m excited to see the birthdays to come!

Love it! We lived overseas when my boys turned two and four and had a car theme birthday. Didn’t have much money or the stores we have in the US. But, I saved boxes and turned them into cars for them to sit in while eating birthday cake.

I wish I would have had a Cricut when my kids were little. I went all out for my kids parties but I was cutting and drawing and making everything from scratch. I also made all there themed birthday cakes and learned how to juggle and make balloon animals for all the parties. Lol I absolutely love the mac truck table.. I think one of my kids favorite party was blue clues. I made each kid ther own reusable blues clues notebooks.
