bought new, still love it and use it a lot. pricey back in the day, but a digicam that's still very usable after 20 years...... well worth it!

I had the 717 camera back in the day and love love loved it. It’s a classic.

I paid $6.00 for mine at a swap meet here in Phoenix 2wks ago. and believe it or not, it's was in pristine condition with the flash card still intact.

this camera is 5x optical 10x digital zoom , as I have one right here in front of me :)

Did you get the Memory Stick eventually? I like Sony's design very much too, especially that line of digital camera

@@emiliovalencia8548 you can get the memory stick adapter for dsc f717 on eBay or Amazon. I had the original memory stick but it was too small. So I bought the adapter.

i had it still have the DSC-F828

do you know where can i buy the memory card for this camera? Thanks a lot!!

eBay in the US for sure. Hard for me to say about anywhere else. Sony memory sticks are sadly not that easy/cheap to find.

There are plenty of these Sony memory sticks available on eBay in the UK, plus the adapter if you need one, they are cheap, and very reliable, I have three Sony DSC digital cameras from the early to mid 2000s and all take Sony Memory Sticks(Duo&Pro). Truly I've had no problem sourcing these on Ebay.

Traía un memory stick de 256mb si no mal recuerdo, no la tengo a la vista ahora. Yo le compré un adaptador para una de 2GB. Todavía los venden en eBay, no se si Amazon los tendrá.

Ebay will definitely be your best bet. Looks like $20 is about the going rate for an official 128MB Sony memory stick which is what I have.

You can get an adapter on Amazon that takes sd cards.

@@pojre they do work but you'll need a very low capacity SD card for them to work - they will not recognize cards larger than 2GB or something like that

Ive paid 1000bucks back then for f505..its garbage now and not working anymore just sitting in box..do you have any idea how to revitalize it or to make use of optical zeiss zoom lens for telescope coupling maybe..
