Thrive Aquarium Plant Fertilizer Review. I use this fertilizer in my fish tanks when the plants demand more nutrients. There are some important factors to watch for when dosing a liquid fertilizer in your fish tank. This all in one liquid fertilizer made by thrive it’s a dosage of one pump per every 10 gallons of aquarium. What you actually need to do is learn your specific plants and their demands of nutrients and that will better assist you when trying to figure out if your aquarium needs this fertilizer.
The directions state window saying thrive Aquarium and Plant Fertilizer that you should those one pump per every 5 gallons. So if you have a 20 gallon aquarium you were going to be dosing for pumps or squirts into your fish tank. Be very careful you don’t overdose your aquarium or you will deal with wild amounts of algae.

The exception to using a liquid with rooted plants is an undergravel filter with a deep substrate. The UGF will pull the ferts thru the substrate, and roots will indeed have access to the nutrients.

I have the thrive plus version and have accidentally over dosed my 75 before. Can confirm that you will get wild amount of algae lol

Is Thrive C safe to use with Flourish Excel or is it overkill? Both have readily available bio carbons, but Thrive is non-glut.
I've notice my plants do amazing in smaller tanks! Many of my plants just die off and wilt in my 55 gallon and when I move them to a 20 gallon or even my 5 gallon betta tank they immediately start thriving again. CHRIS what's your theory on that???

Maybe it’s because of the height of the bigger tanks.

The shallower the tank the better gaseous exchange and flow will be Ie more CO2 for the plants whether it is injected or not Carbon is the most important nutrient for plants
I have jungle Val in a 75 with flourish root tabs. I was want to add this thrive c for my other plants plants will this be ok ? I run led lights 6 hours and no co2 with about 30 Tetras

One "pump" for every 5 gallons... I'm not sure but the bottle I just purchased mentions nothing such. Not here to argue but does this apply to All THRIVE liquid fertilizers?

This was 2 years ago, they made it more concentrated so now it’s 1 pump for 10 gallons
Fertilizers are definitely not all the same especially all in ones. Easy green is going to be immensely better than something like flourish.
