My Mom’s Brownie Sundae pie❣Will you are such a joy I could listen to you all day long! My dad was a professional studio photographer back in the day and had boxes of pics he had taken which I loved to look thru. I wish I still had them all. I do have some good ones of Pres. Ronald Reagan!He also did set decorating for Disneyland and our family went for a day of behind the scenes and all the rides right before it opened to the public! I felt very special😂🤣🤗

Will, I had a Brownie camera when I was in grade school back in the 1950s. It looked similar to yours. I was so proud of mine that it took black-and-white pictures of my friends. I hope that you enjoy yours as much as I enjoyed mine. ❤

I really enjoyed the history tour. I’ve been coming to Las Vegas so long I feel I’m part of the history. I sure remember brownie cameras and advancing the film. If I have to pick, I say cake.

I loved this video and all the history..my favorite was the Union Plaza. I enjoyed all of this.

I'm equally opportunity too. If there are both cake and pie present I'll take a little piece of each. My dad had a Brownie camera.

I love them both. I guess I would lean more toward cake if I had to choose.

I saw my first concert at the Cow Palace!

CAKE! all the way with real homemade buttercream icing the best. Peanut butter pie and my Mom made something called a chess pie which is so sweet it will destroy the sweet tooth but sooo good. lol The photos came out fantastic you can see the vintage aura or look to the photos compared to pixel photos today. I have my fathers old camera from he bought from Germany back in the early 50's. I'm not sure what type of camera it is offhand but it does work and I have the flash as well. He took many photos of the aftermath of the war in Germany as well as other places he went Holland Italy England ect...Your camera will probably last another hundred years. 👍

Also I was wondering if any of picker road's earlier videos gave a story of how Gary and Harlene met and about their childhood. They are always referring back to a memory. Hello you Pickery People! 😅 28:22 Harlene, the shades like that simply sit on top of the candles in jars like Yankee, Bath and Bodyworks etc. The holes you see on the bottom is to ventilate the heat so the top of the glass doesn't shatter. 😮 30:00 hey Will, interesting facts. The Singer Buttonholer was first sold in 1938, my Mom used to tell me that hers was 2 years older than her. They sold for $8.70 and was the most expensive attachment sold for sewing machines for a long time. The same style sold until the 1980s and fit every singer sewing machine made. By the 80s most models came with built in button hole stitches. Eliminating the need for these.

Speaking of the Bicentennial, July 4, 2026, God willing, will be The United States Semiquincentennial, also called the Bisesquincentennial, the Sestercentennial or the Quarter Millennial, will be the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence. I think the need to pick one and stick with it, or some abbreviated form the people can pronounce never mind spell. 😅 I'm a fruity girl esp lemon meringue or key lime pies. But I do love a good moist cake. Now cookies are just evil, I eat them like potato chips. 😮 🍋🍈🍪🍰🎂🥧 But if I have to choose its Cheesecake topped with strawberry goop!

I love how the pictures came out Will. I like the graffiti sign for the antique mall... it's like something old meets something new. Because so much of Fremont could have been photographed (probably was, too)by a Brownie! Of course Vic but the Golden Nugget with your story, and when I visited it was one of the first casinos I went into because it's been there forever.
