Great video and that suitcase was so perfect for your display. I loved that ink bottle on your brown box display. A little hint....I like using denture tablets and warm water to soak old bottles, vases, decanters, etc. Works nice to get alot of the dirt out.

Meep, those pillows 😍. They would look great with browns and deep olive greens.., any shade of creams and even a deep rust. You know I love a good block print, they give me English vibes when styled correctly

Was told GW is trying to compete with Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, etc so might be why prices are higher. Also, good stuff is sold online.

Great video and awesome thrift finds! 😃 If I had to pick a favorite item, 🤔 I think it would be the suitcase 🧳 for $20. That really was a good deal. The old brown ones are so hard to find in thrift stores and they are $50 and up in antique stores, at least in my area. I also love what you did with the old bottle. 🥰

No, it doesn’t say “transferware” it’s just a technique used to transfer the pattern onto the ironstone, porcelain or bone china pieces. Not as common anymore since they use laser printing.

Went to my goodwill today and same thing. Shelves weren't packed and the stuff they had was junk. No vintage. Very disheartening. Didn't find anything. What's going on? There's a Savers closer, and they're packed. But not "non-profit", which I don't like to support, plus their prices are very high.

I am not shocked at the prices when I see what is offered new and their prices. Plus, so many of the new pieces are not quality. Take it from a 73 year old grandma.
