If you buy that basket, you can put a wood or ceramic tile on top and then put a plant. It will save the basket from water also

Love shopping with you. I learn and I smile and even laugh.

Went to a great yard sale this morning. They had fabulous items including Hull, Pyrex, Lenox and many unusual pieces at great prices. They had many small figurines(thought of you). If I was a reseller I would have bought a lot. It was to help cover costs of what insurance doesn't cover for their special needs son. I may go back tomorrow.

From the fornicating swans to the formation of a construction company you had me laughing so hard! Thank you!

Jeffrey, you had a great idea for displaying a postcard collection. That multi-photo frame just needs a fresh coat of paint ( black, white, gold or pink) and a stenciled flamingo in the center where the words are.

I keep a small fondue pot & some sterno for hurricanes. If your power is out you can heat water to make coffee in a French Press or using a pour over & also heat up opened cans of food in hot water. Just gotta make sure you remember to put up some water to use in it, lol.

I think that the basket would’ve been OK I believe it’s some sort of a felt on the bottom so when you slide it, it slides easier if you would’ve been able to leave that on there

You need a insulated cup for the theme parks. I got a neoprene bag to put a water bottle in and it goes like a cross body bag, so your hands are free and your water stays cold. Mine is a Mickey Mouse one and it was a lifesaver!

Good Morning Jeffrey, I’ve been to that Goodwill many times and never found a thing there but there is another Goodwill outside the Villages on 441 South, behind Millers Ale House and next to Total Wine. I found it to have more of a selection.

Ikea has that basket in stock now for about $25 if you want it.

Why do people donate to the Goodwill. Just give it away or put it out on a table in front of your house for people to take or give to a church or local thrift store. Goodwill is such a profit making rip off!

There are 3 small Nonprofit thrift stores around me that I donate to one supports a homeless shelter, another one supports a couple half way houses in my area and one supports a local organization for disabled people. Goodwill unfortunately forgot that they are a Thrift Store NOT an Antique Store and donations are FREE!

You could have still used the basket for your subwoofer idea by covering it with a piece of fabric (to cover those glued on things), and then putting your potted plant on top of that.

People are now repurposing the old Jell-O mold containers. They are filling them with colored ice water and fruit and freezing them and using them in a punch bowl. I see people get very creative that’s what they put in.

There are 3 more thrift stores near Oxford. They're actually in Wildwood and they're all near the Wildwood Antique Mall. There's Bargains & Blessings, My Mother's Attic and the 3rd one is near the intersection of 301 & SR44. I cant remember the name of it, but that one's not that great anyway.

Jeffrey you can take that all up to the cash register and explain to them that everything goes together I do that at mine and they are happy to give me one price so try that next time so that you don't have to pass up on a great item. Keep in mind that the people that work there are probably not resellers and so are not educated in such things and probably assumed that that each piece was a different item.
