There are dye colors at fabric stores for materials such as are on your shades. Once I dyed some cotton/polyester crocheted gloves to match a beautiful light blue crocheted dress that I found new at a store called Mervyn's in the 1990's and the dye on the gloves matched my dress perfectly for our son's wedding to the most wonderful gal ...they had two children which are now in college

I love to watch my fellow thrifting KZreadrs, it's why I started my channel. It never gets old to learn from others. So much fun!

We didn't think much of vintage when it was modern back then..but now it's so pretty and so much better then modern..these days..beautiful finds

Regarding that piece your mom was showing you. My mother had one very similar and there was a mirror behind it. It was by our front door so that you could check your face before you opened the door. Ours had a place to hang a scarf or jacket and a long box across the front to hold keys. I am 81 so that was a very long time ago.

Saw your video from living with country I believed. Love your decorations ideas!

The little shades would be cute as wire cloches for vignettes. Nice pickings! First time watching your videos. I like the small old pictures and tin. I like using pictures and tins in vignettes. Love the black table and rattan couch for a indoor patio. @2:20 Love the urns with the grass ball. The paint diy on them looks great. I just found your channel, soo fun I get to watch all and get caught up when I can. Lol I am loving the baskets too. I keep the items for my home.

The lamp shades could also be died with watered down paint, or Rit.

Just a heads up, that Tacky Putty does leave oil stain on the walls that is, in my case, impossible to remove and had to be sealed and painted over.

Hello, I'm so sorry but exactly remember which hutch you might be referring to... I made this video quite a long time ago and many things have changed since then. If it's the cream one in the background, that came like that. However, it had one side that was still just stained wood and I added a cream-colored milk paint on top and it turned out identical.

First time I’ve seen one of your videos. I look forward to seeing more. I noticed your mom had a Mackinac sweatshirt on. Are you from MI? I’m from the thumb area. 😀
