I love the Media introduction, I grew up in the 70’s and my aunt and uncle took me and my cousins to the drive in to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a man was walking around with a chainsaw and I saw the Exorcist Whalen I was in the third grade. I think the shining is amazing , although I don’t typically watch horror films now but the classics are good. Music I like Steven Sanchez and some classics like the Beatles, queen. I will listen to your suggestions. Love the thrifting, I started doing it out of necessity when my kids where growing up and it’s nice to see young people doing the same but with much style, creativity and earning a living .

I like that you use random items I already have ! And make them kind of grunge. Flanels. cardigans, dress shoes, dress shirts, old t shirts, but you make it look very intentional and cool, more youtube videos yezzzs

@@deathbythriftingALSO FOR THE GLUE RECOMMENDATIONS I use shoe goo for almost everything. Apply it, let it set overnight, and it’s nearly good as new. I’ve seen professional shoe repair guys use stuff called barge cement. Never used it myself but it looks like it does the job really well, if you want something more heavy duty.

Great choice of movies! My favourites are Mulholland Drive, Blade Runner, Videodrome, One flew over the cuckoos nest, Seven. You have to check these out if you haven't yet. Did you ever listen to some stuff of Tangerine Dream? When i first hear Rubycon it was a mindblowing experience for me. I don't know if it fits your taste in music but i would love to hear what you think about it.

give yourself the time and space to breathe. today there is an insane pressure and urgency to feel productive but i truly believe that sometimes its best to take break and reset. for me, i knew i needed to take a step away from making videos because i didn't want that negativity to seep into my videos/work. it was hard to not do what I love, but sometimes its good to give things a break and come back with a new or fresh perspective. thats what i needed for sure. you don't know the inspiration that will come to you in the future until it arrives, and i promise you it will come even if it takes time. i found SO much inspiration from art like music and movies and also from the people around me. give yourself time and be patient with yourself :)
