I love the ceramic pieces!! They are both so good!

I am a ceramicist. The reason why there’s no glaze on the bottom is because it would get stuck to the inside of the kiln shelves. The glaze will become fused to the kiln shelves and you would basically have to pull it off or use a tool to get it off and the ceramic piece would be ruined for the most part😊

I have a middle schooler that is taking a ceramics class and that’s what she said. She was so happy to know that, it was so sweet.

😂 You caved on the brass candle stick holders!!!! I would have also!! The piece with "the face" might be a frog house for the garden. Great haul. Love the gravey bowl.

Wow color coded aisles would be amazing not only because it would make shopping easy but also because of the quantity of items. My local thrifts only have two short aisles of homewares in total. I cant imagine multiple full color coded aisles 😍

I do love the color coded aisles! It makes finding my favorite stuff easier for sure. It’s crazy how different thrift stores can be in different places!

Love the gravy boat! So pretty and practical. Your brush is a shoe shine brush - that is why it’s so soft. I’m sure it can repurposed for whatever use you want. I think your brown candle holder would make a lovely stand for a small pumpkin. Endless possibilities for thrift finds!❤

The dark basket tray is wonderful. And brass candlesticks are always a treasure for me.

You have such a great eye for finding wonderful treasures at thrift stores and for making them look so important in your decor. I love the whole haul! ❤

Great finds! My father used to have leather handled garment brushes to clean off wool pants, jackets, etc, of lint/hair. Do you think yours is a garment brush? In any case, you can use it for whatever purpose you'd like!

Like you, I have a "thing" for dark brown. My favorite things to thrift lately are pillar candle holders. I grow lots of plants and instead of candles, I put my smaller plants on them to give height to a vignette. I definitely would have gone for the brown pillar candle holder. Great piece!

I LOVE …DARK BROWN Decor Items as well!!!🤎 My FAVORITE piece that you bought is the Dk Brown Wicker Flat Tray with handles!!! (Similar to Studio McGee Style). Thanks for sharing!!! 🍁🍂🍁

Nice haul! That small brush was used for shiny shoes back in the day. Some brushes like that was also used to brush off hair from coats & clothing.

Your little soft brush is a shoe shine brush. After you polish shoes you buff back and forth with the brush to remove the polish to make your shoes shine.

I believe that item with a "face" was a coconut shell someone had cleaned and put some type of glaze or something on it to make it decorative but I am not sure. I love those candlesticks and both baskets.

Your goodwill has some great stuff! Love the brass candle holders! I paid 14.99 for a set!

The soft brush is a clothes lint brush. Popular before the sticky lint brushes hit the market.

The soft bristle brush is for men’s shoes and the pitcher is 50’s

I'm always partial to candle holders and pottery so I especially loved the small brown pottery piece with the shiny glaze on top. All of your thrifted pieces were great finds though. Where is Floyd and Myles?

It's a vintage clothes brush for lint or hair on nice clothes, back when people took pride in their appearance.

That is a shoe shine brush, that’s why it is so soft

The thing with the 3 eyes is a coconut shell.

I love all your thrifting finds! It amazes me how big the gravy boat is 😂, won’t find that in the Netherlands!

I believe that brown object you said looked like it had a face , is a toad house . You can even order them online.

The brush is actually a suit/clothing brush. It was used to brush off dust off of clothing.

Loved everything you found but my favourite was the little glazed on top pottery! I knew you were going to buy those brass candlestick holders 😂 so why fight it?

That piece of pottery is a pit-fired piece..the bottom has no glaze and has the raw clay black because of where it was located in the firing process
