Hi Heather, loved the basket you did with the bee on it and the cutting board with the bee/moth... next time when antiquing the top of a basket, line the inside with aluminum foil or something similar to catch any leaks - you made it look great anyway!..

You do beautiful work, I liked all the projects. You have lit a fire under me to get flipping and selling my basket stash, they are really hot right now but won’t be forever. I like doing the brown wax on baskets because it totally changes the look. It almost always turns out better and if not then there’s always paint 😂. Thanks for another great video.

I recently found the same double hanging baskets with the little painted birdhouses on it! I did paint that one part white where the birdhouses were and it did take some time. But now that i see how you did yours, maybe i should have painted it white too. Lol. Really i think it looks great with either option. I did do the antique wax on mine as well and just did the one stripe white and i love them with florals and greenery. Great job on all your projects.

Great job Heather. I love them all. Those burns by the glue guns really hurts. Keep a bowl of water next to your craft area to put your finger in when you get burned. Have a very blessed weekend.

My regular stockist is sold out, as are Ruth and Ruby, MM Mercantile, and almost everywhere else. I read they won't be available again until December. 😭 ... BUT I did finally find it on Etsy! Heather, when do you use a clear coat to seal before you place a transfer and when do you use an antique wax of any color? By the way love your creativity!

Thank you so much! Technically you are supposed to use a clear coat/sealer prior to using the transfer. I don’t always follow this rule but make sure the surface isn’t waxy so the transfer will stick. Chalk paint needs to be sealed too so that it can stick properly. I hope that answers your question!

Did you use a paint for the small round, if so why did you use that instead of An ink, also did you clear coat the wood before you stamped it?

I did use paint for the white but it’s only because that’s all I had! The ink melds into the surface while the paints sits on top of the surface.

I thought you were supposed to spray a clear coat after the transfer??

Well you are supposed to clear coat it before the transfer on top of chalk paint otherwise it pulls off. I put one before and after on this one!

IOD Brocante transfer. A lot of retailers are out of them but some are available on Etsy!

Well I do have a long way to go…but I’ve also come a long way in a short time! The point is that I am out there doing it and improving all the time! My hope is that I encourage others to start! As far as my poor crafting-you are entitled to your opinion and I hope you find what you are looking for on another channel. I have 9.2k people following my journey so I’ll take their word for it! 🤷🏽‍♀️

How can you be so forgetful not to spray the chopping board when you are selling these items in your booth please be professional when you are flipping items for resale you expect good money we expect a good product

Well because I’m human and like I remind my 7 year old all the time “everyone makes mistakes, even Moms!” I left it in the video because I figured adults need to remember that too! I would only put good final products in my booth but wanted to show the process of making a mistake and recovering from it well!
