Hi Heather! I love today's projects! Handsome Mr. Doggy just tickles me to bits. As far as the rooster platter goes, you were right not to distress to the silver. Dare I say, I almost rather it retain an un-aged white finish??? The stamp-paint-stamp project is again lovely.

When the video first began I thought to myself 'oh, Heather is wearing a fluffy sweater, how nice.' Then to my surprise & delight I discovered it was adorable Henry wearing the fuzzy 'sweater'. My favorite was the brown vase with the white ink, and yes the ribbon added the right touch.

I REALLY enjoyed the video today! I also bought the entire IOD release and appreciate all the ideas and tutorials you shared with us today. I liked the way you used a dark wax on the silver/white platter. It is a nice change from distressing. The ribbon added a different dimension to the base also. I can't wait to try your ideas, especially the flower stamp and paint project. I LOVE that.

I personally love the wet distressing with the silver trays...i just think it's beautiful and sometimes I even use a guiding wax over parts of the metal that is showing in a slightly different color than what's there. Your projects are always beautiful no matter what you choose to do though! I can't get enough! Will you PLEASE go a whole video with the new seed catalog IOD transfer book, maybe the original ephemeral melange book, and a bunch of smalls? I'd also like to see a video with several repurposed picnic baskets, because I have two that I need to redo and repurpose ❤

I have been using up the seed transfer book each week so far and did just get out the other one too! I have a couple of picnic baskets that I need to upcycle in my stash! 🤔

I love the rooster stamp. It's beautiful. I love all the white without distressing. Probably unpopular. But I like it white like that. I never realized what those green pieces were for in all my IOD stamps. Thank you for figuring it out for me. 😘😘

The stamp then paint then stamp again was my favorite minus the dark wax, although I saw how it made the crackled bits stand out. I love your simple and practical techniques when flipping your pieces. ❤

Thank you Heather, I needed that! I haven’t been creating because we had a death in the family and I hurt my knee back in January. And I’ve beaten myself up because of it, rational side knows to take it slow I’ll get back to it but that other destructive voice likes to sneak in my head and do some emotional damage lol. All of your projects were great, that striping was the perfect addition to the frame, down to the color choice! ❤ the wall looks good, you’ll be able to decorate it and it brings more light to your work space and will diffuse the light while you’re videoing 😊

I had no idea Staz-On had a white! I am RUNNING to HL tomorrow. I use Hero Arts Unicorn but even heat setting it seems to neverrrr dry!!!!!! Great projects!!! Love the ship lap wall ❤

Right out of the gate yes! ...on the slippery crockery. I have 2 just like that and I added an IOD Mould to them just fine and then painted with DIY Paint and went over them both with wax and the paint 'slid' off in several places. I do not like either one of them and they went into my 'not happy corner'. lol I will also have to stick with the transfers and no moulds, paint or stamps on these types of crocks.

Well sometimes you need that “not happy corner” to figure out what you do like! Someone suggested spray painting matte clear rustoleum right where you want to stamp…may try that next time!

Loved all your projects!! I did see someone tape the sides of their stamp to their work surface and then roll a glass jar over the stamp, if that makes sense. 😊 it worked perfectly. Just an idea. It was a small jar and stamp. Not sure how it would work on larger items. Thanks for all your tips and encouragement!

I like wet distressed but the dark wax looks good. I think you should add a little more of it on the tray. I love your hand painted piece. I would like to try it with some watercolors. Great projects! I’m not sure if you know but Dixie Belle carries a product called Slip Stick. It helps when trying to add stamps etc onto slick surfaces like your first project. Just thought I’d mention.

I know a lot of DYI users love using dark wax. I personally like wet distressing. I have tried the stamp, paint and stamp technique and it was a failure. I need to attempt it again.

I'm pretty sure if you prime (clear)( paint) over the pot, then use the stamp. Ink needs something to grab onto.
