You gave me an idea...I'm going to do what you said with the dollar store items and give to the kiddos at church. I'm sure it won't matter that it came from the dollar store. All that matters is that they have something for Christmas! I know the little ones really like coloring books as well and you can get lots of those at the dollar store. Great ideas Karrie!

@@paulaaversa3645 yes !! Please do 🙏 I can't imagine any kid going without on Christmas but unfortunately it happens too often. I'm going to try to gather lots of things too. I'll have to contact some local shelters , churches and schools to see if I can find a family to adopt this Christmas 🎄 I heard that you can Even draw anonymous tags at churches to buy for a specific child too ❤️

You ladies are wonderful...I always love giving back at Christmas 🎄 too. Dog shelters are another good option...they are always in need of toys etc 💖

I always try to hit yard sales and stuff for bigger gifts. I bought my daughter a power wheel Barbie Jeep at a yard sale for $40 and just brought it home and washed it good. She was so excited Christmas morning and she never knew it was used.

That's awesome!!! My daughter's 4th bday gift was a second hand doll house I paid $60 and she absolutely loved it . The smile on her face I'll never forget ❤️

A few years ago I found the Barbie dream house on fb market place (really cheap) for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it. She had no idea it was used 🎁

My entire family has stopped buying gifts for each other, will be three years this time. We just decided to get together and have good food and enjoy each other's company. It's been wonderful, no more stress and buying people stuff they don't like anyway. I love how you budget and thrift store shop. Smart girl! It shows you have a good grasp on priorities.

I went to the christmas festival in the town i used to live in and picked two names off the tree for the senior center one year. I returned the tags that day before i left i happened to have a dollar tree gift card and i used my cvs extra bucks and coupons to get the body wash the other tag asked for. The dollar tree card was asked for by an elderly man and a lady wanted the body wash. I only spent less than a dollar on the body wash.

My friends son just got his first car and he is so proud of that car .His dad jokes around with him saying he washes it so much that he is gonna wash the paint off lol.That car cleaning bucket supples that you showed is perfect for him.The dollar tree is great for stocking stuffers.Thanks for sharing with us 🤗❤️

Ideas for male gifts that are practical:::bucket filled with car cleaning supplies(wax,tire cleaner and tire shine, microfiber cloths etc.) Basket filled with favorite beer or liquor and snacks they love(peanuts,cashews,chips,beef jerky etc.) Gift cards to fave fast food restaurants for quick lunches when they are at work. Shaving kit and /or cologne!

I recently found a $100 new $65 used toy at a yard sale for $15. It was out of the box, but extremely clean and very gently used. My son will be so happy! I even explained to the lady selling it that she could get $65 for it and she said she did not want any more, She said I just hope a child will enjoy it!

We call them opportunity shop in Australia . Used to find great bargains many years ago but stopped buying from them as over the years they all became way to expensive for second hand items 😮
