I think Heidegger made some comments on technology, that he wasn't against it parse. Which was confusing given his line of thought. Ted Kaczynski made a compelling case against technology. If things started going bad with the advent of Helenistic Greece and never reverted back to how things were during the bronze Homeric era or perhaps it was even more authentic during the neolithic times. On top of that, there's 8 billion people today who are unfortunately all "connected"; in other words there is an infinite number of people today. You're expected to find meaning in this dystopia. I watched a lot of NDE videos and there was something new age phony about the message they convey. Its always a new age trope, you can't kill yourself because thats evil and read my book. There was some kind of purpose they had to come back for. Then you look at Schopenhauer's brutal honesty but he fails in the end too where he reasons, well if you kill yourself that won't change anything. Well, ok. What if you're terminally ill or disabled. What of the rest of your life is pain. What if you had a tooth with an infected nerve? Should you just let it rot in your skull because removing it would be killing it and that's bad? You'll go to hell for it? What is the meaning of today's society in which the maddening rhythm of time, the repetition, a ruthless, silent, "doing its own thing" lies directly opposite to a society founded on baseless wants.

The process of disappearing is taking effect. Never did steroids. As a natty you feel like you're making progress but it's mainly ego related delusions. I will be honest. Bronze Age Mindset disappointed me. I expect a good, straight forward read about nietzschean and homerian idea of man and hereoism, deeply rooted in history and epos. Instead i get drug-fueled incoherent mumbling and rant abou present dat america I didnt even finish it. (Its the first time i refused to finished a book) It was so boring and pointless for me. I quit on part when he mentioned greek pederastia as smth good and manly. Only good idea i found was that abou politheism, without Highest God (logos). It was well argumented. In my opinion, book is not worth the hype.
