This is a short video of a three-day backcountry ski trip I did with some friends in the Three Sisters area of the Oregon Cascade Range. The dates of the trip were February 5-7, 2023. Gavin and Terrance have been doing this trip to the Tam Rim Alpine Yurts with Three Sisters Backcountry (www.threesistersbackcountry.c...) for years, and this is the second year I have joined them. On the east side of the Three Sisters Wilderness, Tam McArthur Rim rises 1,500 feet above the yurts and stretches for two miles, providing an incredible variety of terrain including open bowls, treed glades, couloirs, gentle meadows, and steep chutes. Beyond Tam McArthur Rim, the wilderness stretches over spectacular ridges, glades, lakes, and buttes leading up to Broken Top Mountain.
