That's real love seeing her husband crying with her for her happiness that she found her siblings. He knew what she was going through all those years

Her relief that they were adopted together must have been such a weight off her chest. She knew they werent alone.

It should be illegal (because it's certainly immoral and cruel) to separate siblings. If asked, they would rather be together in the orphanage than apart with other families. This is so wrong.

I don't disagree. Inwill say though that my in-laws were foster parents for some years. At one point they ended up with two boys, 3 and 5, whose parents were abusive towards each other. Unfortunately, the 5 year old already exhibited the same behavior towards his little brother, and the state was considering separating them. They moved on from my in-laws and I don't know if we know what ended up happening. It's nothing but tragic, and at 5 I hope that the older one at least found another loving home and has been able to grow out of his behavior. At the time, as horrible as it seemed, it really did look like separating them may have been better for the younger brother. Those developmental years are so critical. I am no expert and am not qualified to make such a decision, but I can see how it might be worth considering for some cases. At least these days it is easier to keep track of children in the system. Hopefully if the boys were separated they will have the ability to find each other later on. If not, I hope being together has helped them both. Please do not stay in abusive relationships people. It is DEFINITELY not better for children than having separate parents.

This is why foster parents are crucial. They will take siblings.

@@djfearross4144Are you willing to do it? It's very difficult. My brother and SIL have been doing it for a while and it's not for the faint of heart. I wish there were better answers; that people were better to their children...but unless we're willing to do what we're preaching, it won't do any good.

The terrace house where the filmed the sisters was next door to my childhood home (built 1976). There were old ladies living there. I cant remeber that one, but they were all Miss this or that. The one with the white door was Miss Ann Peacock. She was lovely. All those ladies had lost fiances in WW1. Miss Peacock was a pianoist and when I was in the Dewsbury reporter as a teen, I was touched to find that she had framed my newspaper picture. The otherside was terraces, a strange old man who died in a house fire as he went back in to turn his electric blanket off and Miss Oldroyd. Both filthy and used to urinate in buckets and chuck them in our buildings. And also Mrs Mudd who had a son called Robert who I named my teddy bear after as a toddler. Funny how to the left of my front door those elderly ladies were so prim and propper and to the right (not Mrs Mudd obvioulsy), they were filthy and rat infested. I had a desperately unhappy childhood and when this show first aired it was so emotional for me seeing the place again. Then take into account the neglect of this poor family I really feel for those ladies and would love to hug them all
