Al Masjid Al Aqsa was the first qibla in Islam and it has been a significant and important place of worship for the Prophets of Islam. It was built 40 years after Al Masjid Al Haram in Makkah. There is a difference of opinion amongst scholars as to who exactly built Al Masjid Al Aqsa, with some scholars and historians asserting the view that Al Masjid Al Aqsa was built by Prophet Adam (as), and others opining that it was built by Prophet Ibrahim (as). It has also been rebuilt, renovated and expanded many times in the history of Islam.

Asalam aleikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu... To all who will read this message... Pliz understand that Islam can not be diluted and our honor as Muslims can only be restored if we practice Islam according to the Quran and sunnah... Understand that all the prophets were sent with one kalima LA ILLAH ILALLAH... Understand that Jerusalem is the land of the prophets the first kibla... Understand that Jerusalem will never mix with secularism in all its form... Jerusalem reminds us that we should come back to the teaching of our beloved rasulullah salalahu aleihi wasalam and denounce secularism and extreme nationalism... That we are one ummah... And we should stop betraying our brothers in palestine and all the places that Muslims are suffering... Stop glorifing and supporting extreme nationalism in all its forms come back to your Deen because Islam needs you.

@Ram Eri I respect your argument but the issue is how can you be talking about facts when you can't seem know where you stand... How can a human who see the essence of God(Monotheism)inside himself and in everything still claim that God is three in one?? How can a human who doesn't know where he stand talk about facts??? UNDERSTAND THIS SIMPLE FACT the TRUTH is from ALLAH some call him JEHOVA, ELOHIM, God and to him are beautiful names... So if you will believe and if you will disbelief its all up to you... He is ONE with absolute no partner... NO FATHER, NO MOTHER, NO SON, NO DAUGHTER, HE BEGETS NONE NOR WAS HE BE GOTTEN, HE IS THE FIRST WITH NO END AND THE LAST WITH NO BEGINNING, NEITHER SLEEP NOR DEATH HAVE EFFECT ON HIM AND THERE IS NONE COMPARABLE TO HIM.

Certainly, the righteous man is he who worships [Allāh] and exerts himself throughout the year!” Who were they speaking to? Not to you and me! They were speaking to students the like of Imam Abu Yusuf, Imam Muhammad Al-Shaybani, and many more who were themselves qualified to make ijtihad. Your intentions are good but don't be fooled by the Saudi Salafi / Ahle Hadith movements. A lot of petrol dollar misinformation has gone towards promoting there books and them trying to claim to be the saved sect and owners of the narrative of Qur'an and Sunnah. All 4 madhab are correct and they all respect each other. What is better learning from someone who has learnt, from someone who learnt from the traditions of a madhab tracing back to the understanding of Qur'an and Sunnah from the Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW and through every generations not only preserving but re-reveiwing the traditions. Yes there are some narrow minded individuals who claim to follow madhab that are sectarian and also don't know many madhab have flexibility have differences of opinions within the madhab. I can't remember exact quote by Ibn Taymiyyah but he warned against people following any opinion that goes against all 4 madhabs May Allah guide us all.

Assalumu alaykum sister/brother, The "Haram" which stands for the mosque means something similar to "inviolable" or "respectable place" where certain things or actions are not allowed, the word comes from the same root word as the word for prohibition. It is actually the opposite of what you had thought, it signifies no "Haram" actions are allowed near that mosque, thus considered holy. Btw there is nothing in islam that doesn't have a proper answer or something that is odd, ask me anything if you are disturbed by your doubts, indeed it is the only true religion that survives today.

Since Islam made a point of destroying churches, temples, and places of worship of all other religions, seems to me only fair, when people of other religions decide to destroy Muslim holy places. Why should Israelis allow Al Aqsa Mosgue and the Dome of the Rock to continue to exist inside Jerusalem -- the city founded by Jews, and the capital of their ancient kingdom?

@@jamilkhan2430 You need to brush up on your history. The Romans destroyed the Temple in the Jewish Revolt in about 70 AD. That caused the diaspora that sent Jews everywhere. At some point, the Catholic Church built a church on temple mount, replacing the Temple to Jupiter that was there. Later, the Muslims built their mosque there. All that is left of the Jewish temple is the wailing wall. I find it amazing that the Jews allow the Dome of the Rock to stay there.
