Three reasons to buy a Nightforce scope

This is a question that I get asked often and my reasons can be broken down like this:
Image Quality
The image quality is simply fantastic
Durability
Nightforce scopes have a reputation for being one of, if not the most, durable variable power optic currently available. All lenses and the reticle are bedded, i.e. glued in place, which virtually eliminates any chance of movement. Paired with a thick main tube and this means your scope stays zeroed and in once functional piece, even if it takes a teeth-jarring tumble.
Tracking
The way Nightforce machines and assembles its turrets ensures they'll not only never wear out, but they'll always track and adjust accurately, each and every time.
If you're hard on equipment, and are a buy once, cry once type of shooter, invest in a Nightforce and it will last a lifetime.

This is how you do a sponsored video. You provide specific reasons for why it's good, not just telling me it's good. Most other channels could learn a lot from you.

I just found this video and, what can I say other than “you beat me to it”? This is a very good video, excellent job and format with the B-roll from the factory etc…THIS is what they all should be.

I don’t hold any grudges against the guy, but pretty much everything anyone ever says is invalidated the moment they say “Sponsored by (insert company name)”. I understand that not everyone is a total sellout and most people don’t take sponsors unless they are serious about using their products, but you cannot tell me that sponsorships aren’t biased information.

i bought a NXS 42x56 in 2003 for f-class rifle matches. love it. its been on everything from a 223 ,308, 300wm 338lm and a barrett 99 in 50 bmg. still tracks and image quality is beautiful. now saving for a atacr 35x.with a tremor3 reticle. they are the real deal.

I've been looking hard for a new scope, something I can use on an ar10 and also a bolt gun for hunting season. I already own the nx8 1-8, and have been looking at the nx8 2.5-20, and that is a hard scope for any other brand to beat, honestly. For the price= glass + mag range I do believe it is the best bang for the buck out there.

Hey Mike. Thanks for the comment. I’m new to nightforce - looking at my first, am thinking about the NX8 2.5 - 20 as well. Did you end up getting one? How is it?

I've currently got 2 Nightforce scopes and they are amazing! I looked long & hard at other optics including Vortex, Leupold, S&B, and others. Nightforce won because of their quality, features, and long history or reliability. Looking to add a third scope to my Nightforce lineup soon.

I like most everything about NightForce scopes except the tight Eyebox. I had a NightForce 1-8 that I used for 3Gun and practical long range AR pattern competitions. Most situations it worked fine but when having to get into unusual shooting positions I waisted precious time contorting my body to allow me to get a proper eye alignment to get a good reticle picture. I ended up selling it and getting a Trijicon 1-8 that was nothing but a joy . Well now three years later I want to get a scope with greater magnification and zoom range. The NightForce 2.5-20 looked to fit my needs. Well dang it! It had the same tight eye box problem. I tried a freinds ZEISS 3.6-18 and it did not have any Eyebox issues. I was hoping that NightForce would address the issues as new model years rolled ou but it seems that I might be the only shooter that has the eyebox issue.

Do they actually bed ALL the optics lenses, or is this only on ATACR or Mil-Spec (NAVSEA, etc. marked) optics? The mil-spec Nightforces used to carry different specs for pretty much everything...

He said "I'm going to buy an NF scope for a 22LR rifle (2021), I see him again in 2022, and he has an NF scope mounted on a Ruger rifle, I shot it, and no problem. Thirty minutes later, he said "the elevation stopped working; a new scope, so now he's got to ship it to NF for repair. He is the second person I encounter with a negative statement about NF scopes. NF scopes were first on my list of optics to buy. My desire for an NF scope dates back to 25+ bought a Leupold instead.

What bothers me about Nightforce is the Warranty. It's limited. It covers only defects and workmanship. Exclusions to this warranty include intentional or accidental damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, and improper mounting. This warranty does not cover any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the inability to use the riflescope. To top it all off it is all at their discretion. Just as an example take the Vortex Warranty (there are many other optics with this Warranty as well)... "We will repair or replace your Vortex product in the event it becomes damaged or defective-at no charge to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. You see, it doesn't matter how it happened, whose fault it was or where you purchased it. If you ever have a problem, no matter the cause, we promise to take care of you." When I spend this kind of money on glass, this is how I want to be taken care of.

This is retarded. I mean would you expect a car company to cover your car for warranty when you drive it into a wall intentionally? The reason vortex has that warranty is they are so cheaply made its cheaper for the manufacturer to just give you new shit. And its no surprise that most vortex scopes spend more time traveling for warranty than ontop of rifles.

I no longer recommend the Chinese made Vortex scopes. The Japan made ones are great and their Razor gen 3 6-36x56 is incredible, I'd say better than the Nightforce ATACR and almost as good as a March, ZCO or Tangent Theta. Buy them at 40% off through a law enforcement or military friend or relative or when they go on sale for 40%-50% off. Last sale price was $2099 last month in November. My favorite Nightforce is their NX8 4-32x50, it's a poor man's March scope. March is my favorite brand of scope. The Tract Toric ELR which I also like is a poor man's Nightforce.

@@StuninRub You should try a Razor 3 out for yourself. You'll be really surprised how good it is and it's night and day better than the gen 2 Razors. Try comparing a gen 3 Razor side by side with an ATACR you'll be surprised.
