It doesn't matter if CJ regresses or continues to look like a great QB, 2024 season will feature a ton CJ coverage.

I agree about the run defense. I think we improve this year. But it all comes down to Bryce young. If bryce can score points, teams arent running 194 times per game.

Forty plus runs per game and Bryce goes 13 or 14 of 19 for 195

Frustrated is an understatement man. I love this team but we are feed up with the mediocre product they out in the field. I’m no bandwagon fan but I was so close to just calling it quits as a Carolina fan.

You wish the roster is worse than last year

The team might be hard to run on, but they will be fairly easy to complete passes on. First, who on the DL will get pressure on the opposing QB? Clowney and who. Wonnum is hurt. Barno is hurt. Luvu is gone. Burns gone. DJ Johnson is hurt. All that equals no pressure. The only decent CB is Horn. The opposing team can succeed with only running for show. WRs will be open in this Panther secondary and with no pressure on the QB they will be found.

These BS so-called fans are terrible. They hated Cam when he was here and wanted him gone. They wanted Rivera gone. They wanted our old owner gone for some BS. They wanted the college coach, then wanted him gone. They wanted the veteran coach that was just fired the year before and listened to the hype about how great he was, then they wanted him gone bc, yes, he was absolutely horrible and should never coach again, they wanted the number 1 QB, but didn’t want what they had to do to get it, and even though they wanted all those changes, they are continuing to blame the owner for having to make those hard choices and spend the millions of dollars to make them. They should be kissing his ass for getting rid of all that garbage and finally getting us a good GM, good head coach, good starting QB, a good draft, good free agency pickups, and a bright future for a change.

They won't win more than 4 games

Funny everyone says Dave is the savor of the Panthers and say he want to run the ball. Yet Tampa did not have a run game. Here we go he also just threw the coach last year under the bus. A lot of the offenses issue start at the QB. You just need to quite talking football. We will not have a pass rush and these half way decent QBs will pick the secondary apart. Thirdly you obviously cannot read stats. If you could you know that our run game was no better under Wilkes as it was under Rhule. If you going to talk trash learn to research before hand.

You clearly dont read stats otherwise you wouldn’t make the claim that the run game was better under Rhule. 2022 panthers avg/game 89.8yds/0.6TDs under Rhule and 146.75/1.08TDs under Wilkes. With Wilkes doing so without CMC. If you’re going to form your argument based on stats and decry someone else for not knowing them then you should probably know the stats yourself first.

The running game was way better under Wilkes because he stuck to it. Matt Rhules offense was doomed with bad quarterback play and bad schematics.

@@trevaughnisom8618 actually it wasn’t, if you look at stats. The yard per game and attempts were about the same. There was that one outlier against Detroit where we had over 200 yards but other wise it was the same.

Their yards per attempt is the only number that is similar but the attempts per game, yards per game, and td ratio all show that Wilkes definitely put an emphasis on running the ball that Rhule didn’t. And the Detriot game was over 300 yards rushing which is a franchise record, but he had 2 other games where the team cleared 200 yards on the ground also which Rhule never got close to 200 that year.
