Lachlan Morton returned to Yorkshire, England for the penultimate stop on his alternative racing calendar. Three Peaks Cyclocross bills itself as the hardest cyclo-cross race in the world. Lachlan contends it’s also one of the most fun. The single day event attracts a community of hundreds of riders, runners and adventurers eager to tackle 62-mile course that takes in Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent in the Yorkshire Dales. No chance of being sick of hearing or watching you do these awesome events. Whats great is no one will ever need to tell you stop doing this and I am grateful for your efforts. Total inspired by the events, your efforts and most of all your attitude. Where are those teamates of yours...lets go EF.
Lachlan Morton is doing more for the sport and community then anyone else right now. This is so awesome and positive. If there is anyone I'd like to spend a day riding with, it's Lachlan and Phil Gaimon.

Another epic adventure in the books for Lachy and EF. For me, following the alternative schedule has been the best highlight of the ENTIRE racing calendar. Big kudos to Vaughters and Rapha for thinking outside the box and bringing amazing content to the fans. Keep it up boys.

You know there are cyclists and people who ride bikes. People who ride bikes will always have issues .." What's the Roadie doing here ?... He's only a mountainbiker etc. etc. A cyclist will open the shed door and think ..." What bike will I take out today ?" I think it's absolutely fantastic that World Tour pros are doing things like this. That Mathieu van der Poel is mixing up everything. That EF and Lachlan are out there just riding bikes. Because in the end, that's all it is. That some get paid and others not makes absolutely no difference. :-) Keep on rolling ... maybe Transcontinental next year ??

Sad news that the original organiser of this race, John Rawnsley (featured throughout this episode) died on 25th December.
When you can't win a World Tour race, you enter non-UCI races to stroke your ego.
