We ate there on fat Tuesday and those beignets were so special the fat Tuesday beignets were purple and green they came with a string of beads and some of the best icing I’ve ever had in my life!! Yes they were special for the day better than regular but they only come once a year so I’ll go with raspberry if that’s all I can get

Yea that's what I've heard from Disneyland foodies that focus entirely on food. They say the Downtown Disney ones are the better ones and at times, the normal ones at Disneyland don't measure up many times.

Eating specialty Mickey-shaped beignets in NOS at Disneyland.......it's a rough life, Dave!

I agree with you Dave. I love the jalapeno cheddar nachos at the movie theaters. Having slices in the cheddar dip would be awesome and bring the fritters to another level.

I can't picture beignets without a cup of chicory coffee to wash them down, although a cafe au lait would be a good substitute. They aren't doughnuts; the approach to eating them is different. So next time you get some, have a cup of your favorite joe along for the ride. Then you'll be eating the Cajun and Creole way.

Have you ever done a video on how to do Disney with young kids? Tips, tricks, etc? I feel like so many Disney bloggers don't have small kids (or at least the ones I follow & that show up on my TL).

Tim tracker has a small kid. Him and his wife show quite a few videos with things they do in the parks with their son. They are in Orlando though.

How long are the cookie butter beignets going to be around for?

We cant have the 5 and dime car for the same reason we cant have the trolly. It interferes with the theming of avengers campus. Even if they take it backstage from next to guardians it still goes through the campus area in Hollywood...kinda dumb but I guess I get it 🤷‍♂️

I never get the churro with the sugar on it anyway. I may try it with just the lemon drizzle. Ni love the funnel cake without sugar and fruit too.

8:44 did you get a mistake? The lemon bar churro should have a lemon bar dust with the lemon drizzle, not the normal cinnamon sugar.

If you like cookie butter, you have to try biscotti cookie butter. they sell it in a jar and it looks like peanut butter. But it's not, is cookie butter!

May I ask, what’s the different between you and something like, Provost Park Pass? They seem to get special treatment from Disney. I prefer your insights, advice and perspective. You’re more “real.” Thanks for all you do.

We do! My wife and I carry packets of red pepper flakes as well as Tabasco at all times… especially all around DLR! And, you can pick these up while there if you forgot from home.

Am I crazy or did they shrink the beignets? I tried these and they looked smaller. I know they were talking about reducing portion sizes, so did they already start?

You had like the polar opposite reaction to both the Cookie Butter Beignet’s and the Lemon Churro compared to Magic Journeys lol. I think I’d be more in your camp I like Lemon Bars and I love love love Cinnamon Churros but together doesn’t seem like that would work.

Your transitional segments are really improving. The 5&Dime transition from Disneyland to DCA was super cool.
