How do you protect your tripod legs from the sand?

i don't i just try to wipe the sand down at the end of the session, but i've gotten some in there. Theyll need a deep clean evetually, but its carbon fiber

Thanks! I have the sirui tripod also and love it. Not the carbon fiber version though. Love watching your videos - such an inspiration!

@debsavo2 I suppose steel might be a little more susceptible to rust over the long run… not sure. But thank you so much for watching and following along! 🙏🙌
Why plein air water when no wave is ever the same? Can you tell us the benefits of plein air painting water over say, master copying a photograph of ocean waves?

it's hard to explain why, but working from photos is just not the same. Theres something about a human capturing a moment in time from life that's special, rather than relying on a tool's perspective

@@patrickokra agreed fir almost everything. Just ocean waves I haven't freaky figure out what's the thrill of the haul for so little. Just me though.
That's crazy to paint something that just poofs disappears.

Nice painting but you don’t need the music.. your voice is music enough.

I feel like I'm with you doing this--what a feeling!!! Is that paper or canvas you're painting on? You're a master with the colors. Looks like Florida waves. Subscriber from Panama City, FL.

This was a canvas panel! Awesome, I enjoyed painting in Melbourne beach earlier this year with a workshop!
