Three Lakes and More

We visit three local lakes with completely different stories about how they came to be. One by the hard work of early settlers, one because of a volcanic lahar, and another because of a manmade dam. Plus we met some out-of-state travelers driving special cars.

I was at Kapowsin on Saturday for a boat test, also about 3 years ago Alder lake was completely dried up back to its old river level in that drought we had. It's always nice to visit these places ( including Elbe )

When we were there last week Alder Lake was full and looking beautiful again. It's always amazing how nature is able to bounce back. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video Granny. The lakes look really beautiful & those two cars were pretty nice too. Washington State is so green with all the pine trees, I can see why people would want to live there. Thanks again!

We are called the Evergreen State for a very good reason. This time of year is when everything is at it's most lush. Of course, it's pretty obvious how much I love it here enjoy sharing the beauty with all my friends.

The dogs were very comfy, lol. They get along well and Louie is a welcome addition when he comes over. Next weekend we will have my grandson's little dog, Snape. Grand-dogs are fun. Thanks for watching.

Those two cars were really amazing. I tried to look up how old they were and they seem to be both from the late 1920s. Very early models.
