Three Birds In Five Minutes. Not Often Seen Heron Behaviors

One of these behaviors may never have been recorded as a moving image. Another opens a door to a secret life. If you live in a place like Florida, and watch herons for years, you are bound to see them doing more than just standing around waiting for fish. Here are three examples. The last one is rather weird, but Ralph Palmer documented it in his Handbook Of North American Birds (1962).
Featured birds. Reddish Egret, Least Bittern, Great Blue Heron.

I wonder if those last birds were escaping an eagle or some other predator, flying around waiting for the coast to clear.
