hi Brendan!! great cd update and killer additions to the collection...... i think i have not heard any of those cds yet, well except Gamma Ray (one i need to get too.....) Just discover Suicidal Angel a couple of years ago and they sounded really good to me, like a cool newish Slayer, imo. I will have to listen to Morgana LeFay and that later Shy. cheers and be well

Probably don’t bother with the earlier Shy unless soft rock AOR is your thing, Welcome to the Madhouse is all you need from Shy🤘definitely recommend Kerry King and Morbid Saint

Good pick-ups. I was lucky to find a Gammacide OG for €30 I think it was. I saw Suicidal Angels live once. Good band for sure. I have a couple of Shy records. Sounds like I should pick that one up too.

Great post as usual lol! Some solid titles in your grab. Love the Morbid Saint!! The Kerry King is not bad at all. Either I’m too jaded or everyone’s just beating him up lol. If you get the chance, gotta recommend the new BAT record. Really great songs and catchy as hell. Mixes some thrash with some NWOBHM undertones. TIL next video, take care man!!

Good stuff to check out Brendan. I'm increasingly buying C.D's more and more as postage and Vinyl costs are mental at the moment. If you compare a band to " Savatage " i'm going to check them out. So thanks for highlighting " Morgana .." Love " Gammaray " as well. Nice one🤘

Thanks mate Expect a lot heavier version of Savatage though with some Pantera style mid paced heavy riffs 🤘hopefully you dig it man

I have been really enjoying the new Kerry King album which I am surprised about as Slayer apart from 2 albums which I love are not my go to band when I want my thrash fix. I was looking at picking up the new Exhorder myself but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Nice stack of all things rock and metal mate😃🤘

Great new pickups Brendon! I'm glad you like the new Kerry King, it's had it's mixed reviews for sure but I'm looking forward to checking it out. Really cool to see the new albums by Morbid Saint, Sadus, Exhorder and Suicidal Angels. All of them I need to check out, but I've been really falling behind on new albums in recent years. I definitely prefer to spend on OG records than new releases and save a few dollars buying new CDs.

Nice stack of cd's Brendan. I really can't get into KK's Slayer, but cool that someone likes it, seems to get a good amount of "hate". The new Morbid Saint and Sadus are great comeback albums. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I love both Death Angel and Slayer so KK is gold for me😝 Morbid Saint is my front runner for fav album so far but I just received my copy of Atrophy and it’s killer also

Still thinking about that Kerry King album, but have not listen to it yet, same with the new Morbid Saint. The Suicidal Angel release I got on vinyl and I like it a lot, but not as much as their previous release.

Morgana le Fey. Bloody hell mate i totally forgot about that band. 1993 was a year of throwing out a few albums like that and they all went under the radar. Check out Souls at Zero self titled from the same year. I haven't heard the Kerry King album yet but the songs i have heard it's not the riffs that were the issue. Its laddos shouty vocals which is why i cant stand the comeback era Death Angel. Sadus I felt was a bit slow and alllllll tttthhhhheeee vvvvooocccaaaals were dragged out. Not much rapid fire anymore.

The debut Morgana Lefay album has been a killer better late than never discovery for me. Hard one to find for cheap but I got lucky finding it out of Japan. Cheers for the recommendation and I think Morbid Saint is my favourite new thrash release so far but I’m still waiting for a copy of Atrophy to arrive.
