It's so obvious when they made the first one they knew it wasn't "to be taken so seriously," but that it wasn't a joke either. The second one is just way too ridicoulous, and then it's own ending alludes to the original sequel as the first was a remake. Were they really serious about making a sequel with walking an/or flying piranhas? Should've just stopped after the first one, though I do love the "in ruins" look of years later after the original incident. The waterpark doing illegal things was a fine setting but my brain can only handle so much in idle mode lol.
