You just enjoy these movies for what they are, just a fun Kaiju film. That aside, no one talks about how pressure works in the reverse. Creatures that develop and live in the very deep ocean can't live on the surface, just like those on the surface can't live in deep pressure zones.

I was somewhat okay with the rest of the movie, but there's no way a guy can just swim around underwater with that much pressure, without a diving suit

I feel this video would make a good drinking game. You would take one shot for every time the narrator says Megalodon like “Megah Low Don”.

I liked it. I don’t know why people think the CGI of the Meg 2 was so bad. The creators of the Meg 2 did the best they could.

A big difference from the books is that the megalodons? Nor any other creatures in that place have a mating cycle. This is because they reproduce asexually they just spit out offspring. Also, every species in that location in the books has gills and can breathe water, including the mammal species. They all also reproduce asexually.

You're misremembering the book then. Angel (the megalodon in Book 2 and 3), does mate with a male Meg and has 2 litters she pops out at the same time: one from asexual reproduction, and one from the mating.

Well technically the giant squid is alive below the atmosphere of the ocean and turtles who have been alive well with dinosaurs and the Meg which is also known as the Megladon who was up to 60 foot long which is about 20+ meters and if you don’t need to know this well I filled you in anyway

Some of you don't really understand... A shark that big cannot survive in our oceans, the oxygen concentration in the water alone is enough for it to suffocate.

This movie was new. Just made in 2023

i watched this in the cinema and it was kinda meh like 6/10 but only because i saw flaws in logic and unrealistic things but if i saw this at 13 id be amazed

I watched the movie so I got the spoilers:)

I honestly didn't enjoy the film as much as the first one, my issue with the meg 2 is that when the film got into the 2nd act which is when they dive into the trench and haiqi follows them, there was too much unessecary human conflict until the 3rd act which is the beach, the human conflict was too corny and uninteresting while the introduction to the 2 other megs were fine i find that the discovery of a rival company to just uninteresting, and my last issue with the film is the treatment of the sharks, they were supposed to be the highlight of the film and yet the were killed off my relativly swift means, the attack of the shark vs the giant octopus was a great but short sequence was really nice and I wish we got more of those in the film. overall even as a turn off your brain and just enjoy the mindless action I really didn't find this sequel all that fun compared to the first film with the meg atleast the shark got enough screen time compared to the 3 in this one.
