Maybe a little bit picky but, I would have liked the terrain adjusted to the screen so that it’s easier to see down streets. Maybe some more overhead shots too.

I am new to 40k and this is the first Vanguard Tactics battle report I have watched. Y'all do a great job of explaining the rolls you are making and walking through all the rules. This has been hugely instructive and still a ton of fun to watch. Love the format.

Loved the format, clean, detailed and slow enough for me to follow along. The addition of rules in the corner was very much welcomed 😂

Great game, though Warp sight was used in this game a bit wrong, rather than selecting a unit and they get [indirect fire] and [ignore cover], you need to use it on a [psyker] unit, you then choose an enemy unit VISABLE to the [psyker] unit you picked, then until the end of the phase, any models with the [psyker] keyword get [indirect fire] and [ignore cover] with [psychic] attacks against the enemy unit picked.

New to 40k, I love your Space wolves :O Would love to have the skill and knowledge to paint them like that! Thanks for your great videos

After the first dreadnought shot and killed 2 or 3 rubrics, removing the ones visible would have made the unit not targetable by the second redemptor that was by far the most damaging of the 2

Love the video, only criticism is needs more above the table shots. Preferably anytime something has impacted the board state so its more visual.

Does the Soulreaper Canon get Warpsight? I don't think it is an Inferno Weapon, so no Psy and thus nothing of the other stuff.

We played a drinking game were we had a drink every time the world wolf was said. 3 were dead by the 5th minute

Great Batrep! I loved playing wulfen when they were released but yeah they are certainly in the back seats now...one thing to rem though is that when they die they still get to fight on a 4+(if they avent fought yet)..not that it would have made much difference in your fight.

In the combat at around minute 35, wound not the precision model need to see Ahriman for the precision attack? Or does it see him?

I just played last night against one of your coaches called Paul and his thousand sons with my custodes! It was a close one, but he pulled ahead in the end. It ended 59-73.

Thanks for the report! I have watched alot of 10th battle reports and it definitely feels to me like something is missing. There is absolutely no reason to take anything else than absolut killing power. Feels very dry and not at all cinematic. Im going to have my first 10th in a few days I really hope I feel different about it after I tried it myself. Cheers!

It specifically says no charges in the rule.

Is oath of moment too good? Seems wild when interacting with devastating wounds. Maybe oath should only be reroll failed hits wounds so you cant fish for dev wounds 🤔

I really liked your BR. Great guys, beautifully painted miniatures, cool format! Unfortunately, the terrain blocked the view on anything else almost the whole time so eventually I switched the BR off :-(

Could the second Dread actually see the first group of rubrics?

I tried this SW list. I don’t know what to do with the Wulfen. 0 Oc doesn’t help. No advance and charge, no character, no way to survive anything Maybe some scout sniper instead ?

I think the thousand sons list is off. The points document lists the termie sorcerer as 105 not 85 and that lines up in the pdf and the GW app. I wonder how crucial the crystal is to this list

Question: I didnt see it come up in the battle, but I was wondering if you all play OoM as a persistent effect? E.g. if the bodyguard unit is destroyed, the OoM continues to apply to the remaining leader?

Great batrep but isnt warpsight used different? You pick a target that can be seen by ANY psyker and then ALL psychic attacks against the unit gain indirect fire

Yeah the wulfen could be 10 pts a model and I still wouldn't take them. GW have neutered them

Great battle report but this is why I’ll be playing Space Wolves as Gladius for now as the Saga thing is fluffy but just doesn’t seem worth it on the tabletop. 😅

None of the space wolf unique units can be in a gladius task force.

​@@chrisgregory3063they all can be in the Gladius. They all have the Adeptas Astartes keyword. Even Long Fangs, in the app, have that keyword. Everyone knows you can use that detachment for the other SM subfactions.

i bought the Indomitus Box set and just recently assembled it all and i want to make them Space Wolves is why i ask.

Shouldnt the Bladeguard have taken a battleshock in T2? He wiped out half the squad didnt he?

Warp Sight only works for Psyker Models, rubrics (&sot) are not psyker models short of the aspiring sorceter in thr units.

How are you guys shooting indirect with rubrics? Warp Sight requires it to be a Thousand Sons Psyker Model not Unit and only the Rubric Sgt/Sorcerer has the Psyker keyword

You can make their bolt guns have the psychic keyword with at strat then the indirect strat works on psychic attacks

@@facemite The indirect strat only works on Thousand Sons Psyker Models. The strat to make bolters psychic weapons doesn't give the regular Rubrics models the Psyker keyword (still only the Aspiring Sorcerer has it)

@@tonylittleton8549 rules lawyering is being annoying about little insignificant interactions. Shooting around buildings (aka ignoring the basic rules of 40k) when you aren't allowed to isn't insignificant lol

If you're going to have more success with edited videos, I think you have to go all the way with it, like playOn or TT, and not just what looks like a cutted live steam. Alto, it was way more accessible to watch, then a 400 hours long BR. I get it tho, livestream is the golden goose right now, that is way more cost-effective. Alto a step in the right direction imo. Hope it continues

Toned down the T sons to be fair to the space wolves eh. I guess that makes for better watching. At least the Tsons were finally shown as winning a game on line the army has been mis built and mis played in all the battle reports so far and they have not had a great showing for what some are calling a S tier army.

great work. But its kinda hard to watch do to the poor camera work. open up the apurture so more is in focus, as well put a lut on your footage so its not so white washed. Great fun tho!

You can activate one for a turn for a cp, so turn 1 6+ FNP to get into combat and start unlockinv from there

Its so fluffy and fun for casual games, but hardly competitive compared to gladius. Should let us start with one completed and cap it at 1 or 2 more you can get

I am taking my thousands Sons for a game tomaz and I have a question: What use is Exalted Sorcerer on disc when attached to a unit of Rubrics, surely he can't move away from them with his extended move? This is a genuine question rather than trying to nic-pick, I am thinking without disc I could afford another enhancement

Watching this making me definitely fear for my own wolves a bit. Seeing how hard it is to get Sagas, or when you do trigger 2, having to choose, just such a bummer. Either starting with 1 active, or being able to activate more than 1 per turn, I think needs to be a must.

It is really frustrating/sad to: 1. Have to earn what others get for free (a Detatchment bonus), and 2. When you do manage to do multiple "super cool" things, you only get the bonus for one. I cynically think that someone in the GW design studio must absolutely WRECK everyone else with Space Wolves and they all think "wow, we really need to tone this army down!"

It is pretty ridiculous watching the Tsons use their amazingly powerful abilities while the space wolf army ability just doesnt exist.

Won't lie started the video soon as you said wulfen I said nope. They are terrible now and useless better to take a different option.

Wow mortal wounds output this edition is really op i might say. Especially with rerolls.. i might not like this at all

This is soo sad to watch! I still can't wrap my head around the fact that this the most played wargame in the world. A bunch of dice rolling and re-rolling and re-rolling..., no really meaningful movements, no terrain real impact. Too many tiny rule bits to end up everything saves on a 4+ or 5+!! In my opinion: Blood Bowl, Star Wars Shatter point, Bolt Action or ASOIAF bring much more meaningful choices for a fraction of the cost.

So Space Wolves aren't as terrible as they cried on Reddit? Just as I thought

10th ed is so crap. Please start showing some other games.
