1:03 is my favorite part. This part makes me think of mental illness/those negative thoughts about yourself that creep into your mind saying that you are worthless, no good, you can't do it, etc. He's saying that he doesn't need that negativity anymore and those inner demons can just beat it. That's how I interpret that part of the song.

Call it cheesy, call it whatever you want, but this song.. It got me through a tough time, I was in a Boys Home, for kids who got taken away from their family for being shitty kids.. and this song, made me wanna change, it was my motivation for being a better person. Today, I've changed so much. And I have TFK to thank.

This album helps since I was sent to hospital, bought cd and listen to it whenever the urge to self harm comes

I met thousand foot krutch the singer is a great guy he is very religious opened my eyes to everything made me feel at peace with myself made a prayer for me since I got beatened down here and lost my friend and grieving this year he said God is looking over you and so is your buddy and I loved it great man Trevor amen godbless

I grew up listening to this song been listening since around it came out I think. Being raised as a conservative Christian I was sheltered from this type of music so when I finally discovered rock this was one of the first songs I ever listened too. So for me Fly On The Wall fills a significant event in my life . After like a year of not listening to it I stumbled upon it again and realized its tied as my favorite song of all time. It's just so layered in meaning and presented in such a creative manner. I think it was written talking about a relationship but it's presented in such a way you can interpret it anyway the listener would like. This song has kept me from ending it at times helping me through some really difficult times and here it is again right when I needed it. Time to remake myself again with Fly On The Wall as my ever reliable companion. Thank you Thousand Foot Krutch.

Kinda sucks you where sheltered from this kind of rock sense as far as I'm aware thousand foot krutch is a Christian metal band This song can also be interpreted as the singers relationship with the false promises of sin and worldly things ("take your words and your lies and just beat it" "free and yet we all wore chains")

Went to KZread to listen to Fly on the Wall by Miley Cyrus. Scrolling....scrolling....this song came up on the list too. Decided to listen to this song first. BEST decision EVER.

The first time I heard this song I didn't understand completely what it was saying but now that I'm happy and I made my own happiness I fully grasp what this song is I'm keeping every word close to me so I can always remember to believe in myself like a King since I took the time to be a fly on the wall for myself 💖

Underrated album in the history

....WHY AM I CRYING?! This is so meanigful and beautiful!! But the funny part is that I've sang that to someone who treated me like trash and pretended to be my "friend". That girl was just using me whenever no one else wanted to listen to her or whenever she wanted to borrow money, etc. If she was the kind of "friend" that everyone could have then I don't want her. Also god I'm addicted to this song!!

My best friend broke up with me two years ago to this day. She hated this song, this genre. Last thing I ever said to her was a video of me playing this and singing the chorus. That one still hurts a ton--I haven't given my heart to anybody since, and am perfectly content to just live alone with my two pets for a long while. I still come back to this song often, it's amazing. And I still tearfully sing it every time, like I did when I took that video. Was it cheesy to do that? Yeah. Do I care? No.

I don't think this song is religious as most think. "If we can all just believe" doesn't mean believe in Gawd, but to believe in a better world without hate and greed. Finding your Utopia. A dream. The lyrics are great and the song is terrific.
