Ian has lost 25 pounds since this video, he's no longer nearly this fat. I apologize for my level of fatness.

Damn bro.. Ehouse please, you really need to stop interrupting people! It might be fine for other loud people (I am a loud person myself and need to work on this myself..) but this gentleman just stopped talking straight away, leaving me and probably a lot of other people wondering what he would have said.. 🤔
Team wendy now makes a new version of their helmet cover in most common camo patterns and colors
Got a Team Wendy EXFIL SAR Backcountry for skiing a couple years back. Very comfortable, however the plastics they used for the boa retention system where not that strong and one side of the retention system has been broken for a while now. Other than that great build quality
I like seeing these review videos! Please do more.
I use a TW Epic Liner system and X-nape in a Protec Bravo. It is my bike helmet, but is also tactical AF, and the combination really is the most comfortable retention system I’ve ever worn.
Just picked one up and absolutely love it.
Very nice review guys!
Hey, great video. The TW LTP has great value and a very sorted suspension / padding system. They also do 20% off every 4th of July so you can save substantial money by buying your chinstraps / helmets around the holidays. I do want to point out the TW ballistic is far from the only affordable high-cut helmet, the Revision/Galvion high cuts are under $500, Gentex TBH-II MCs routinely sell for under $700, and the Own the Night TBH-II is $375 minus suspension.

I was glad that I could get the Leo discount through Venture-Tactical who is an authorized Team Wendy dealer.
I have one of the PTS MTEK helmets. I do like it quite a bit. The accessories from the real MTEK lineup supposedly fit the PTS version, according to an article i read from a fellow that had both. Including the Wilcox shroud. I imagine thats because its licensed. I will say the hardware for the side rails isn't very great, but it is secure on the helmet. And it does look cool. I'm debating putting 4D Zero G pads inside it to improve the long term comfortability. Also, the shroud is aluminum, its not a Wilcox shroud, but its better than just a plastic one.
i chose the Team Wendy EXFIL LTP bump helmet over the Ops-Core and glad that I did. Some complain about the price but for the money, you are getting a quality made item. I chose the 3.0 rail system in Coyote Tan.
One thing I saw from another review is that the Wendy has a strap around the ear that can get in the way of ear pro and prevent a full seal. Just curious if there really is any issue with that for a set of comtacs? I'm on the fence between the exfil and opscore for that reason alone.

I paid just under $300 for my current PTS MTEK FLUX setup and I love it. I just can't justify spending anymore than that considering how little I actually play airsoft, Which is less than 6 times per season over the past few seasons.
I'm looking into TW ballistic, one thing I read on reddit users that the cam cords interfere with ear protection. Is this a legit issue? I'm planning on getting the AMPs btw

Yes it is a real life issue, since no one fucking answered you for a year.
I'm another with a big head and I wish I had started with a TW helmet before wasting what I paid for a proper helmet on airsoft repros (chinese XL is barely a L size if that). I wear it primarily when playing indoor since being 6'5" I bang my head on everything since the world is made for short people but I also just got into NODs so the mount and retention systems are an added bonus.

It's partly because the awful Ops-Core Occ Dial system uses up space within the helmet shell for the hard foam liner. You will fit an Ops Core much better with 4D Pads and either an Ops Core H-Nape or TW Cam Fit.
OK I know I'm late to the game but, whats with the "Praise Judy" reference in all of your videos? I MUST know! Lol

The joke...and its really not much of a joke anymore...more like a cult reference... well...Judy is the name of a decapitated head of a blow up doll (yes you read that correctly), that EHouse brought an event at one point (I forget when). Anyways, as a joke everyone was like "Praise Judy" and it kinda became part of Gun Gamers. Zero regrets, alcohol was probably involved in the idea process

Easily solved with a helmet cover
Just looked at the helmets. Cheapest are like 75 bucks. Which isn't bad but here's the thing. I don't use antifog fans, gopros, night vision, big dummy ear pro/coms, flashlights and also not the biggest fan of patches. Is there any other reason for me to get one of these? If its only for protection I started using the Ergodyn helmet inserts which basically transforms any head piece or hat into a slightly more protected bump cap. Same inserts fits in all 4 of my hats and my boonies. Shit I could wear my fadora! Its not ansi rating ofcourse but I've seen people without any head protection so I figured atleast it gives a little more then a ball cap would without one. Yall should try them out. 15$

Helmets are good if you need a specific level of head production, or need to fill a functional purpose like a way to mount cameras, ear pro, or night vision. You might find it is less hassle to put on a helmet instead of goggles, ear pro, an exfog, and light all as separate items. But mostly, get a helmet if you're going to run night vision. Otherwise you're just overheating and weighing down your head for a look.

@@vitaminlead7534 ya know I didn't think of that. Having 3 separate pieces of gear, eye, mask and helmet all trying to mesh together and comfortably when with some helmets I can quick detach my eye pro and lower mesh easily without the burden of straps over straps over hat, or under hahah

@vitaminlead7534

@@mikemegadeth4110 Most people these days have their goggles attached to the helmet, then use clips on the rails, velcro, or some other mounting system to put the mesh lower face mask on it. You unclip it to get some air, drink water, etc. And night vision is definitely an expensive hobby, but I say that less as "get NVGs for airsoft" and more like "if you get into the NVG hobby."
Has these guys served or do they feel the need to spend thousands of dollars on a ballistic helmet to make them feel like they are in the military while playing bb war?
