My family farmed just outta town on Dollar Way, so I grew up with so many of the places you go around E-Berg, Moses Lake, the Palouse, Wenatchee, the Ellensberg Blues. Love it. Now i am back in Southern California and facinated by your series on movements from down here up there. Have familly still out in the Saddle Mtns. As a lad I roamed all over Eastern Washington mostly fishing, working wheat farms. Thanks for your work.

Nick I showed this to my wife on our last summers trip to Grand Coulee and dry falls Geology trip. I have learned so much from you and your lectures and now just started a Geology FB page (It's not just my fault)

Great video - I love using these for my classes, so informative and allows the students to see real field examples of what we talk about in class. Plus know they know "crazy" is a geology thing, its not just me :)

Any glacier within 100 miles is close enough and definitely cold enough.

but didn't the glaciers advance and retreat thousands of times? the location of this moraine doesn't prove that there aren't other moraines further along the path from earlier glaciers.

This drainage has evidence of 7 different advances and retreats. We're just looking at the most obvious moraine.
