I believe Northern Dancer actually had a comparatively short stride, keeping his legs under him. But his feet moved fast

Wow, I've never even heard of Swaps. That has to be the greatest horse of all time.

Many think Swaps was the greatest of all time. Mentioned in the same breath as Dr. Fager and Spectacular Bid.

Northern Dancer from Canada's Windfields Farms. Once the World's #1 Breeder of Stakes Winners. Windfields "Featuring Northern Dancer" ....Our Northern' like no other athlete in the History Of Sports. ACTUALLY CHANGED the Thoroughbred Breed, and the history of the centuries old Sport Of Kings... Canada's Athlete Of The Year, has also forever changed the future of his sport. There NEVER had been, nor FOREVER WILL BE??? Another athlete to accomplish in any sport; What our 'Dancer had, and still achieves through his Prodigy!!! ALL over the world... Still to this day over 90% of the Thoroughbred Breed itself; MORESO for its CHAMPIONS, either Thoroughbreds on the flats or jumpers, at sales, breeding or racing, has Oshawa Ontario DNA. From their Northern Dancer bloodline. Our 'Dancers DNA that seems to still today, splice through his Prodigy's genes forever getting stronger; Carrying on Northern's Champion Prodigy!!! Not bad at all... For Our Northern Dancer. Who as a yearling himself in '62, NOBODY wanted "Too small for an athlete" they said. Until he forever changed the history of his Thoroughbred sport, like no other athlete. With mid 80's stud fees of ONE (1)$MILLION$ still far from even challenged today!!! They'll pay and had paid, up to today, almost now 30 years past his death. $Million$ more for A Thoroughbred(s) of HIS conformation and or Prodigy. ...Then they ever did, or even wanted to look at, over many centuries. Before Our Northern Dancer's dominance!!!
