Ryu (Koosta's teammate) Said adreN stepped down for Koosta and would possibly coach/IGL as coach. Even I myself dont like adreN but learn your facts before talking shit.

Those stats about AdreN having less than 2 m4 kills per map was just shocking.

+CatnamedMittens “Michael Bialas” it is really not. If it shocks you than you just have not thought about it at all. He never has an M4 so he has no M4 kills, just like any other fuckign awper! KennyS has way more lan Maps and less M4 kills than adreN WHICH MAKES PERFECT FUCKING SENSE

+Kazumah Plays I feel like Liquid should try to switch up spots, adreN as Lurk and Hiko as IGL and see how adreN performs I've watched a few of his demos and it seems like he plays scared/just doesn't know what to do, he might be a nice guy but in the end Liquid needs a 5th player including I'm sure he'll have trouble IGLing with s1mple on the team.

He might make a good coach since, as Thooorin stated, he can analyse games well and therefore he can help the team focus on weaknesses and implement new strats, it just seems he's bad at calling and fragging.

Surprised you didn't go over it in the video, but what would you expect from Liquid with adreN as coach/IGL after the koosta roster change? Do you think it would work, or would it be better if they put someone like Hiko as the IGL? edit: Just realised from your previous cs:go video that you think Hiko should be IGL from a lurk position.

To be fair, I think he would be great in a coaches position. He is not a particularly great player, but he has a knack for analysing and formulating strats. And part that you addressed at the end is pretty much on point.

11:26 Admittedly when Hiko joined Liquid it led to the downfall of Fugly because Hiko took over his role and forced Fugly to switch his playstlye to one he was less comfortable with, but I get what you're saying.

I'm pretty sure steel took adren's place in IBP, also I think he stepped down for his job at the time because it was before players were getting payed decently and his real life job took priority (he couldn't travel as much so he stepped down from IBP)

For everyone concerned with the point he made about the AWP and M4 kill statistics here's a little simpler explanation: adreN's main weapon is the awp on lan, but he doesn't have awp kills - so he must be getting the kills somewhere else, main rifle for CT's is the M4 - but he has a shockingly low amount of M4 kills. If you look at kennyS or other AWP players, they have pretty low kills with guns like the M4 as well, but they make up for it in the fact that they get loads more AWP kills, with adreN this isn't the case, he isn't a good fragger by any means, at least not anymore, and not for a while.

"Adren isn't the main awper because he kills people with the awp he is the main awper because he runs around with an awp in his hands."

Why is everyone saying "I feel bad. he's such a nice guy." - He didn't get dumped by the cute girl at prom he's a player who is holding back a potentially great team. If you're not qualified to be a doctor you don't get to be a doctor.

Hm, given how you described adreN and then likened him to Chauster, I think I've realized which player would be very suitable for comparison: Crumbzz. He just plays horribly (he has for a long while now, it's just that the ever-rising average skill level exposes him more and more nowadays) and, while he always presents great insight in his videos or on the Analyst Desk, based on what Renegades do in the Pick/Ban phase *and* during the game in terms of macro plays, I'd say that he is definitely a victim of "paralysis by analysis". Thus, he is the perfect comparison. Personally I've been of the opinion for a while now that he should retire and get into coaching or the Analyst Desk.
