Omg.... I didn't get that either!!

I love how Thorin doubted Bilbo and in a way treated him like he was a waste of space but in the end he valued Bilbo so much. In the books it was so cute when Thorin followed Bilbos plan.

Richard Armitage really put everything he had into Thorin, and I am grateful!!!

My grandma passed away a year ago today. She read me this story when I was six. And I carry her legacy of emphasising the importance of loyalty, friendship and helping others in need that she instilled in me. Through her, this story shaped my life. And I will share it others to help shape their lives. I've watched this three times in three days, and cried every time. Thank you.

@@thilboxedits thank you. She was an amazing woman. I read the Hobbit to her while she was deep in dementia and she smiled a lot, especially when I copied her 'gollum voice'. It is a memory I will carry with me as I try to spread a love of books to others.

the initials on the cloth at the end probably stand for ‚bilbo bagginshield‘ and i never cried so hard 😭

Everything about this tribute is just perfect... He chose the perfect music for it too. One of my favorite films.

Where do I start? I'm a huge fan of The Hobbit movies, I think they're fantastic films despite what others may think of them, and this is one of my favorite tribute videos I’ve ever stumbled across. The music you chose, the order of of the movie clips, the color palette. Everything about this video was done perfectly. I would envy your talent if I wasn’t so happy you decided to share it with us. My favorite part of these films has always been the friendship and dare I say it love that develops between everyone in the company. Because of that theme I always come back to these movies when I’m feeling a bit lonely. It feels like spending time with old friends again. Your tribute video stirred all those feelings in me. Beautiful, tender, and lovely video. Truly well done.

Beautifully said! I totally agree. Yes, maybe LOTR wil always be better (obviously lol), but I think The Hobbit movies are fine. There are some characters I love! I'm a fan of Aiden Turner even more now because of a show I watched him in, Poldark, so I loved Kili's character the most. A few things could have been different, but still a good job by the cast. Martin did very well, Luke Evans, and whoever played the white haired dwarf with the beard. Loved them

the first 5 Harry Potter movies also feel like coming back home to a close group of friends. Some movies are just awesome. I wished the Narnia movies were done in a better way, cause those actors were awesome! The casting was superb.

Anyone who says a fictional story can't break there heart,I'd show them this movie series. Everytime I watch all three movies,Battle Of Five Armies breaks my heart everytime. When Bilbo says "look thorin,the eagles are here"...my world falls apart. 💔😢😢

This is so so beautiful! Such a tender tribute, so heartfelt, so tender! The paralels you drew, the voice overs, everything. Genuenly so lovely. Slowed down version of the song worked perfectly, and I love the colouring you used.

This is amazing, you're so good at editing! The lyrics of the song, the pictures, the quotes of the character... it all blends perfectly into one beautiful piece of art. The sequency of takes was not chronological, yet it made perfect sense. This video kind of sums up where the ship came from. All the stares and tender words between them do something to a viewer.

I only discovered last year that the Hobbit movies got some criticism, cause I personally absolutely liked them. I even went to see the 3rd one in cinemas (I hardly ever go to the cinemas) and even secretly cried because it touched me. Granted I haven't read the books yet, but those 6 movies are imho downright magical!

I am a real and old fan of Tolkien. I know the books and I know these movies. Can we not love the differences in these as we love the differences in our children? All are remarkable creations.

I thought I changed my setting to keep the videos from chopping onions during playback.
