Thoracic Spine (Mid-back) Manipulation in Standing
www.johngibbonsbodymaster.co.uk
John Gibbons is a registered Osteopath, Lecturer and Author and is discussing how to assess (and then subsequently manipulate) the spinal motion of the thoracic spine using Dr Lovett (1903) and the laws or principles of Fryette (1918), John also manipulates with a HVT / Grade 5 technique to the thoracic spine and rib cage. Some of these techniques can be taught but only to skilled therapists and manipulations plus more is taught on the Spinal course at Core Elements in swindon. The technique demonstrated is called a thoracic thrust or an AP thrust and is shown in standing

And with my hand on my heart, I have to say that I truly believe the format and content are exceptional.

Well done John. I'm an osteopath from Belgium. There are loads of bad therapists on the internet, harming the reputation of our profession. But your videos and your techniques are clean. You're an inspiration to many of us. All the best to you

Thank you...very useful 👍👌
Awesome explanation. I have been struggling with my thoracic cage, ribs, even collar bone and false ribs for some time. I have seen my family chiropractor and he usually does this in similar height dynamic also. Unfortunately i can't see him even so not often as i need. Is there anyway for someone pretty self aware of body to achieve the goal unassisted? I have a leg length discrepancy of 25mm waiting for corrective surgery over a year anything is appreciated. Even vague. My mid thoracic and sternoclavicular junction bind up frequently. Either way great video
Thank you sir 👍
