Agreed. As much as this and the next films were essentially parodies of the MCU- this fight and the final battle were genuinely impressive. Also I feel like both Thor and Hulk fans got a good amount of fanservice.

Yeah, Bruce Banner literally killed the Hulk by erasing his Hulk alter ego as well as the Hulk’s brain and sanity when he merged his intelligence with the Hulk’s body in Avengers: Endgame (2019), the original rage Hulk that was a separate entity from Bruce Banner that appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from The Incredible Hulk (2008) to Avengers: Infinity War (2018) was perfect and awesome just the way he was until he became the less famous Smart Hulk in Avengers: Endgame (2019). I hope Thaddeus Ross becomes red hulk in Captain America: New World Order (2024) and will be a rage hulk who is a separate entity from Thaddeus which is the Hulk we needed in Avengers: Endgame (2019) unless counting the appearance of the original rage Hulk from 2012 during the Time Heist responsible for 2012-Loki escaping with the Tesseract and space stone setting the stage for the events of Loki (2021-2023) and did the famous “Hulk Hates Stairs Scene.”

Same, I wanted to see if Thor could win in his electric state when he could channel the lightning ⚡ through his body his hands and shoot out streams of electric blasts. I wanted to know if could now in his powered up mode stood a better chance against Hulk. He was a physical match in strength, dexterity, durability, and stamina, but it seemed either evened out or Thor needed an edge or something the lightning mode seemed to be it, plus he was trying to get Banner to come out half of the time. He wasn't fighting seriously at first.

It's not supposed to be an electrocution device. It's a device that releases a neurotoxin and that's why his veins are changing color. However, the device's sound is indeed confusing and is actually logical to think that it's a taser. The neurotoxin device was taken from the comics where it was used on Silver Surfer previously.

Thor's electricity, is magical; is never explained (neither is needed to) how he can generate it; but clearlly the eectricity he creates does not damages him... but nowhere in comics or myths is stated that Thor is inmune to electricity... as I read it, the device is implanted into his neural sistem, and no matter how misticall he is, his biology is similar to the human... so a huge current directlly into his spine, could shortcircuit him (while the electricity he magically generates does not run so deep)... ...but you are rigth; it is some mumbo-jumbo explanation; overlly complicated for this kind of ligth adventure. A mutch more stisfiying method would have been some kind of neurotoxin; some kind of super potent venom that is freed from the device in his neck instantlly killing the guy... but Thor, been a god, his sistem is able to survive, but gets paralized for the effort... it's actually suggested in the movie, as you can se that the veins start popping and become black... but a short line of dialoge would have explained better... ...and also would be super fitting with the myths: in Ragnarök, Thor figths the World Serpent; deffeats the best but the venom of the snake goes into his bloodstream, manages to walk 7 steps and fells dow to the ground dead... So his figth against Hulk (the Beast from Earth) and his defeat due to some poison in his blood would have been a poetical way of adapting the myth into the Marvel Universe

The levels of junk in the rendering of this CGI is shocking. Comparing this to the work in Avengers infinity war is unreal. Marvel really started phoning it in. From the FX to the design the actual story telling the decline is steep.

Can’t stand this film anymore. Thor is way more powerful than that and even against Hela. The Hulk does not need weapons. Bana’s Hulk from 2003 would kick the shit out of Nortons and this bums Hulk any day of the week.
