If they are anything like my cats Kevin could sometimes be what they are fighting about. If they both want attention and get jealous.

that shot of the three lions drinking from the stream, is such a iconic scene from thousands of movies, and here kev is 12 inches away or more getting the shot most directors can only dream of. just beautiful.

It reminds me of the cave paintings in Chauvet cave, from 35,000 years ago.

He is an amazing cat, and it's funny his moods are almost human like. He gets grumpy when he's hungry and when he doesn't want to be bothered he lets you now it. These lions you share with us; we are learning so much about them an they're invionment. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It's crazy how I've seen other people interact with lions, and it feels more cautious and a little more rigid. With him he just walks in like it's nothing and everything is fine. I'm sure he definitely respect them and their moods etc, so he knows when it's safe and whatever but it's awesome how he is.

Kevin makes being surrounded by lions seem like the most natural thing in the world...

Handsome and Majestic Thor is....as well as Charlie boy and let's not forget those Beautiful lady lions. Just breathtaking to watch. To see how well cared for these lions are...they are not scruffy and dirty...they actually look like they are brushed daily, which I know Kevin does not have time for that...just more evident of how their home life is...just bitterly appreciative to Kevin and his sanctuary, the staff and volunteers that all play a HUGE part in taking care of all the animals and giving them "THE BEST" quality of Care and Life in a captive living arrangement. WELL DONE EVERYONE👍I TIP MY HAT TO YOU ALL😁

Thoughtful comment. And who knows, maybe in the RIGHT captive environment (I’d call Kevin’s place “the right captive environment”) they actually genially enjoy life. For one, many or most only know captive living, so as long as they’re treated well and genuinely getting what they need…which they clearly are based on their excellent physical appearance, very long life spans, treatment of Kevin and overall temperaments, etc. And secondly they don’t have to deal with the physical and mental stressors of living in the wild. Yet they still have the opportunities to flex their natural instincts from time to time thanks to the enrichment walks since Kevin has confirmed the area they walk in does have at least some of the animals lions would normally prey on along with some oddball animals to chase (like his telling of Meg’s prowess when it came to finding, killing, and eating porcupine with Ami). Anyhow, sorry for the long reply, just something I’ve thought and wondered about before. And for me, one of those times you wish they could talk so we could just ask them their opinions lol. Be well.

I did not knew that Thor was an actor, besides beautiful and magestic. Those ‘The One and Only’ series really saw us how much do they deserve this title, because all of them are unique.

YES! I watched Mia and the White Lion with several friends!! ... beautiful Thor, stunning scenery and yet what heartbreak! I also feel it's a "privilege" for us to have you share them with us online, thank you!

The lions/lionesses treat Mr. Richardson like he is part of the pride. That’s a beautiful thing to see. Peace to all living creatures.

I’m so glad Kevin talked about the “Mia and the White Lion” movie! I’ve always wanted to learn more about how he created the movie with Thor, such a great cat. 🦁💛

My eyes fill with happy tears every time I watch "Mia and the White Lion". Thor was spectacular in the movie! :D

I just find it amusing that both Thor and his namesake Thor Sr were both the sole movie stars of their respective movies.

I loved this video, I found it very therapeutic seeing Thor , Charlie and the rest on the green pastures, drinking water from the den , thank you Kevin for sharing all of the Lions with us💕🦁💕

Hope everyone is keeping a positive frame of mind , throughout all that is going on .. Keep positive and strong, like Lions.

I watched Mia and the White Lion for the first time today, researching about Thor brought me here and would say i really cried like a baby. I am a Nigerian, this has made me become more determined to visit South Africa and then it would be a great privilege to meet Mr Kev and see the lions. I will also save some money to support the movement.

I love seeing them flop down and show their belly. 🦁 They are absolutely stunning! My goodness!

Neige on top of the car is my favourite!

They really do look like enormous house cats. I think it would be difficult to resist petting them as they walked past if I knew them well. They're absolutely beautiful.

Such a beautiful Lion. Waiting with bated breath for this one. Thank you for your knowledge and kindness to bring awareness to use of these beautiful animals.

So beautiful, it is a privilege to hang out with Thor’s pride, watching them drink together and enjoy the day.

Thank God Kevin knows these Lions and pays attention to their cues. Not being fed and trying to interact could have been bad.

I love Neige's climbing on stuff. Thor's mane is very lovely, how happy his pride looks on their enrichment walk. Thor is a seasoned actor, how amazing!! That was soo cool the 3 girls racing past the water while Charlie walked the long way, then grabbing a drink together. Soo sweet to see one of the girls (which one?) play with you while they rolled in the grass. 😍❤💖❤❤

I love how the ladies are always so fired up, jumping around and have fun. And the guys acting all cool, looking confident and gorgeous, because thats what they are :-) Thor (and Charlie) are breathtaking beautiful.

Thor is such a gorgeous king, truly looks and acts like the epitome of a male lion. Mia and the White Lion was so much fun, and an eye opener for sure! I never tire of watching this group. PS: If I may ask, will we get another Meggie video soon? I know she's an old lady who just wants to sleep now, but I'll happily just watch her snooze for 20 minutes :'D

He's such a gorgeous specimen. The whole pride is full of beautiful characters. They seem to be at peace with each other, one cohesive unit. It's exciting to see that Neige seems to be getting more confident and no longer on the outside, looking in. She seems to be an active participant in what's going on around her. Maybe, some of Jubari's confidence is rubbing off on her.

Beautiful and amazing! The mutual trust and respect is incredible. To be so relaxed and “surrounded” by lions seems to be the most natural thing in the world-Well I guess it is in Kevin’s world.💖😊

It's amazing how gentle they are (relatively speaking) with Kevin; it's as if they know how fragile he is compared to lions. I'd imagine they wouldn't hold back as much when playing with eachother.

What beautiful animals I'm lost for words. Kevin you are so laid back and dont look worried at all. The lions trust you 100%. I would love to get close to these animals and their counter parts i.e. leopard etc.

Came across this channel a few days ago and am completely mesmerized! Have spent hours and hours watching these videos. What absolutely amazing, beautiful animals, not only the lions but all the different species. Love them all. I've watched the movie a dozen times, it's one of my favourites because of the message it's trying to teach people.

It's funny in retrospect. Just rewatched Kevin when he said Gabe acted / moved like a leaopard (way back when). Neige does too. That very cheeky character is so interesting. And MIster DIVA needs that.

I got three pieces of Thor merchandise today and Mia and the white lion aired on a couple of Slovak TV channels throughout March and a day or two ago I have seen it on a Czech channel. As a lion cub ( parents and one grandmother born in the star sign of Leo), I can’t get enough of watching happy lions. Big hugs to the entire fur family.
