It's absolutely incredible! when you see other KZread videos about lions they have them in cages all locked up and he freely moves with them.

Yes he’s made a huge difference in the lives of lions. There is something different about him as compared to others who communicate with big cats. I imagine he will still make big differences in the future as well.

Havent been to a zoo in ages as with age and understanding I got to a point of feeling heartbroken for the animals more than anything. However, I'll never forget being a young kid and feeling the vibration of a lions roar while standing on concrete. Truly powerful and amazing animals! I'm addicted to this channel and appreciate so much the love and excellent care Kevin and his team provides....thank you!!!

How beautiful the sight of these lions and lionesses freely moving through bushes and trees, as well as enjoying each other’s company running around and charging and pounding in the field...❤️ Their relaxed demeanor with you while you’re talking to them, at the same time they are always paying attention to others as well as everything else in their surroundings, is truly amazing and impressive about these magnificent creatures 🥰😍💕

Tiger's roar is loud and majestic, I accept, but a lion's roar just shakes you up to your very soul. No amount of good quality recorder or device can showcase a lion's true roar. It will be truly felt in real ❤️❤️❤️

I have heard a lion's roar in real life. I was a kid and at a zoo when a male lion started roaring. Of course everyone ran to the lion's outside enclosure to listen and watch him as he roared. Now, as an adult I think about how I wish all animals were free to roam a territory and not in a zoo.

Just like with wolf howls, I could listen to these gorgeous lions roar all day. As always thank you so much, Kevin, for sharing this wonderful video with us. It is truly a privilege to peek into your world.

You should hear the noises I make on everyone of your videos. The neighbors must think I just had a baby.

Lions.. sheesh I was out in the bush in africa in the 70's and hear those roars.. chilled me to the bone... I will never ever forget that sound.. I picked up my weapon and went back to the group of fellas I was with.. they were park rangers just to clear that up.. love your gang.. Love africa..

@@LionWhispererTV I grew up in a small town on an island and I've never been to a Zoo. I knew I would visit South Africa someday to these animals in nature on safari, and now I know I want to come to Pretoria as well and visit the sanctuary. What a beautiful place you have there Kev.

Went to school then straight after got a notification from the lion whisperer saw the video right away, Made my Friday easily

This group always comes across as one of the happier prides in the sanctuary. Even if one or two of them are in a bad mood it seems like the rest will do their own thing to get away and stay happy. He's a good leader and keeps a great group does Thor.

In residential areas in Japan, the law limits up to 55 decibel during daytime and 45 decibel at night against noise. Lion roars are such a high volume!!!

Hearing one in real life,hits harder than you imagine. The vibration,hits your body,gives you goosebumps. Maybe,in Japan,people train their pet lions to be more quiet,though. Harmony between neighbors must be kept,but that's not a reason to not have a lion,or a tiger as pets.

It's cute that Neige has kept her playfulness. It makes her more fun to watch. :)

I am just in awe...every time

Thank you very much for this episode and taking a bigger group out, I really enjoyed seeing them moseying about. This is just what I needed when coming home from work, feeling tired enough to only sit back in the sofa and watch this big group moseying about in the terrain. My thought when some of them took the path through the bushes (which you said were their way of punishing you), is that the bushes look like a perfect cover for them to close in on any prey unaware of their presence. Anyway, this has been a nice start of an otherwise uneventful evening, while also providing us with something to feel good about while watching the lions being lions as much as they can. Thank you for this view into your daily life at the sanctuary. Lovely.

There used to be a zoo really close to the city centre where I lived (they've now moved to a bigger place). When you walked around the city nearing dusk you could always hear the lions roar. That was always really special

Kev i wondered when the lions would learn to break the locks,because they are becoming very smart,like were show kev a thing or two.Computation is very important,and the lions are no exception.kev knows all what their sounds mean,and can repeat them as if he is one of them,but that is why he is the lion whisperer.Thor is just beautiful.love seeing him.
