Gotta love classic Thor. His attitude, his presence, his power. It's insane to look at this, and then try to wrap your head around the MCU version. Why have a badass, stoic, shit-stomping hero when you can have a goofy, immature funny-man with screaming goats?

serious MCU Thor was "bland and boring". Now funny MCU Thor is "goofy and immature". We could have a completely comic-accurate Thor and I'm confident people will find something new to complain about. I can't enjoy watching the MCU anymore because dipping one toe into the fanbase makes me wanna blow my fucking brains out. Everything I like is hated by everyone else and I can't say I like L&T or Quantumania without half a dozen people calling me a r*tard or sth

Thor went through the same issues as Batman in the 90s. It started out with a more serious tone (though far from comic accurate) and devolved into a caricature of the character. I'm holding out hope that eventually, we will get a Christopher Nolan revival style of Thor, with someone who respects and understands the character.

I love how Crimson Dynamo was acting all confident and cocky until Thor actually started trying.

Both Thor and Superman are full gods. Superman has divinity from the godwave that swept over DC. All Kryptonians are gods. The godwave is canon for all continuities. It created the emotional spectrum the lanterns use, created the Speed Force(or rather, allowed Barry to create it), and the quantum field. Kryptonians absorbed the godwave, making them a type of deity. Darkseid is a 4D god that gets his power from the Omega Effect, Superman is a 3D god that gets his power from cosmic energy and hope. Thor is also divine, and for this I consider him equal in power to Superman, since Thor is required for the plot to move forward. Marvel wouldn’t exist without Thor protecting it.

THIS Thor! This. Will always be my version of the mighty thunder god. Quick to show just how badass he is within a millisecond! 'By the 9 Realms I smell Sorcery...' The one who looks like Blaastar is called Ulik the troll. He's been part of Thor's foes since the 60ths.

I love how Ulik through time would essentially be Thor's Fight Club buddy lol. There is some neat moments of respect between the two even though Thor may outclasses him, but it's still fun to see.

Actually he is along with Hercules and Gilgamesh. So there isnt just one but three strongest Avengers. And if you include other variations of the Avengers then The Sentry is also as strong as Thor, Herc and Gilgamesh. If you're insinuating on someone who is green and people love to fanboy about then know that Hulk and Wonder Man are in a strength tier below them. Though Hulk is not overall inferior to them(except for Thor and The Sentry who are overall superior).
