Following this he had Odin sleep for an issue thanks to Loki and the Thor force is already good as new for his next fight with Toranos. There is no need to depower him just elevate the stakes

I really love the idea of there being levels between deities. That some Gods sit above others and wield power on a different scale. Whilst I do feel if whoever chooses to implement it risks making other characters look completely powerless, I do feel it adds some flavour to storytelling. No matter where you stand, there will always be something more powerful than you

At first i read "God of the Superstorm" and thought "what's next? God of the Ultra Storm? God of the Maximum Overstorm?" But then I learned he's an Elder God, and I so on board for this.

For a recent character, Toranos is pretty interesting considering he’s an Elder God predecessor of Thor himself. Though I don’t get why Toranos often brings a gigantic fucking wheel whenever he goes?

@@CarlosAtwellOh yeah, the fact it looks like a wheel when Thor spins it extremely fast kinda pushes the idea that Toranos is an evil predecessor to Thor.

I honestly want to see more of Thor by himself, like a animated show. MCU had his moments but couldn't get what made Thor great. Us 90s kids were mostly robbed of him and Cap back then since they only appeared briefly in certain shows.

Thor was great in the 90's Hulk and F4 shows. They showed he was mightier than the Hulk despite being Hulk's show, and in the F4 show they showed Galactus doesn't want to unecessarily engage Thor. And that booming voice from John Rhys Davies is the best voice for Thor.

I was going to say that was a rather boring use of the Thor force at first , all his power being spent from weather control and a few lightning strikes- him undoing all the damage at the end balanced it out

Storm, Colossus, Jean Grey, Beast and Warpath are all great candidates. Storm has already lifted it so I'm not far off. I'd stake my chance on Colossus too for sure.

This was great. Just what an Thor-Force powered Thor should be. He was able to BFR one of those who sit above in shadow, who feed on the cycle of ragnarok. Utgard-Thor better hope Thor doesn't go get the runes... He forgot to reference his true mom the phoenix force though >.>

They are still "jobbing" THOR; when Odin possessed the Odin power, it would take universal level feats done with it to put him in the Odin sleep, while THOR is more rapidly weakened. Additionally, he's STILL with the Avengers against threats that he should be able to handle alone; with the Odin power, it should be inane for him to still be with the Avengers, unless they are fighting forces far beyond their collective power set (cosmic level threats).

Thor does not have the complete OdinForce. The majority of it was permanently depleted. He mostly just has his own power, and he simply isn't that strong compared to some of the other gods.

@@tek512 If that's true, that further supports my argument. In his time, Odin expended FAR MORE of the Odin power than any iteration of THOR (with the possible exception of Rune King THOR); after a while, his power would always replenish itself---what's THOR's problem (writers purposely jobbing him AND his pathetic "powerup")? This is abject ignominy.
