BOLT driver are not being inspected/register with the thai Gov, while grab driver are required to register their details with the thai gov, after all its already very cheap at thailand, i would rather take grab which is much safer. hope this will help...

You're right, prices in this market are on the higher side. I really love Thailand and come here several times a year. Each time I visit, I can feel the increase in prices, especially in popular tourist night markets and some food courts in shopping malls. However, the market we visited this time has a concentration of delicious food options and a wide variety to choose from. I think tourists with time to spare should definitely come and explore!
