When I was a young lad, this was my first Day Out With Thomas event. I believe this is called the Watercress line now, and I think they had a working James train? For obvious reasons, I haven't been back, but I hear it's not as magical now.

I miss these days their not that fun anymore because of Mettel I feel sorry for Thomas

i helped to clean the Mid Hants railway's own Thomas the tank engine back in 2011 after he had been out working the day before at one of their day's out with Thomas events

me and the other Watercress line rangers also helped to remove the face masks off the engines and put them away in the boiler shop the person in charge was cross with me because i dropped one by accident

It used to be that in the contract for the thomas even every loco on public display had to have a face on it.
