I think this is really cool. They look and sound the part and they never break character. That's the kind of education that really sticks with me. Bring the people in so we dont just have to read about them in textbooks.

That’s what’s so great about them (and Washington). They both had radically different ideas for America, but between both of their struggles to get their way, we got this great balance of them which has worked for over 200 years, and Washington was the perfect in-between for them, which is why he was probably the greatest president (although he did generally side more with Hamilton and the Federalist Party, leading to Jefferson’s resignation).

"turn around, bend over-I'LL SHOW YOU WHERE MY SHOE FITS" ok, now that that's over with Thomas Jefferson was really just stubbornly clinging to what he first wanted the country to be. His logic is the very reason the articles of confederation failed and why Hamilton began to rise in political prominence for his ideal to establish a strong federal government

A parliamentary system like that of Britain might work better for a smaller cohesive country like Britain, but where various states and provinces are being represented, a Senate like was made is almost necessary. This is cool. I think it's neat how they can have differing views, without a hard sharp good guy or bad guy division.

LA purchase was done through the treaty process which was within the negotiating ability and authority of the President...in addition to the impeachment option if Jefferson had overstepped his authority. He struggled with this at first because of his fidelity to the Constitution, and why he sought advice from the father of the Constitution himself, Madison.
