Thomas and the Old Oak Tree
Thomas' driver is getting old, and Thomas is worried that he might retire soon, and that makes him very sad. Soon thereafter, a new driver begins taking him out, and Thomas loses patience. He learns that his old driver has fallen ill, and Thomas must find a way to help him.
Thank you to The Buried Truck for narrating! His voice complements the more somber tones of the story well.
It feels good to get back to video-making, and now that Trainz work so much better, I plan to make more in the future!

Rev W. Awdry would be so proud of you.
So tastefully done. Smart, kind, and effectively told.
My heart honestly melted at the scene Thomas found out about the terminal illness. This was such a sweet story.
Y'all out here trying to make a brother cry? Because you succeeded. What a beautifully written and executed story.
Touching story. If only Season 25 tackled subjects like these. Not necessarily dealing the loss of someone you know, but how to deal with sadness.
This brought me to tears, as somebody who nearly lost my own mother to cancer this really hit home for me, beautiful Wonderful job
The use of low note music cues really help with the depressing tone the story takes in the middle.
Damn it, this genuinely got to me.
Coming into this I thought it was another "Thomas doesn't like the new driver and the old one comes back" but this blew me away. Music and narration are immensely intense and it really hits you in the soft spot. Excellent story dude.
This really was a beautifully written story with a wonderful send off to Thomas' driver. It's wonderful to see one that actually gives such love and respect to crews. Throughout the series the engines have always been kept in steam but they would have to come to terms with their crews not being around forever as they are almost always destined to outlive them.
I never new a tommy the Choo Choo train story could make me cry
R.I.P. Thomas' old driver
Tearful and heartwarming story! The quote Thomas' old driver said to him that they will always be friends no matter what is something we can all learn and relate from.
A touching and sad story.... first time I'me hearing it. It reminds me of when my mother passed away so suddenly in December 2019..... I know that feeling about despite the sun being bright and warm, feeling so cold...
A Heartwarming Story that really does show Just how deeply relations can go. I have a feeling you wrote this after hearing about the discarding of humans in the Reboot. TheBuriedTruck was quite a fitting choice, the Music is what really drives the story. Great Work!
How Heartbreaking, Reminds me of how much I miss Russi Taylor the voice of Minnie Mouse and Cameron Boyce from Descendants and Jessie from The Walt Disney Company
That was beautiful. May Thomas' driver rest in peace.
I'm not crying, it's the invisible onion chopping ninja's. Seriously though, very well done. A very respectful approach to the subject matter and a lovely message at the end. Keep up the Excellent work
This made me cry because of how emotional it was. ❤️
This touched what Mattel wouldn’t dare to do keep up the good work
