Thomas and Friends Audio Story 24 - A Bad Day For Gordon

I present another audio story to follow on from my previous one.
Gordon thinks handling trucks is not the sort of job for him. But one day the Fat Controller sends him to the Sodor Waste Dump to work with Whiff and Scruff. Gordon is cross and is careless with his work. This upsets Whiff and Scruff and try to get him to understand the job they're doing. But Gordon refuses to listen and decides to try and get his work done quickly. But when he goes too fast towards the rubbish crusher, he ends up in trouble and has an accident. After the mess is cleared up, the Fat Controller is cross and has sever words with Gordon. Gordon doesn't feel important now after his close encounter with the rubbish.

'A Bad Day For Gordon' is based on the story 'O the Indignity', written by Sharon Miller and adapted by me.

Very nice adaptation. It's just like Gordon to complain about working with rubbish trucks. He still has alot to learn. Great narration once again, I'm glad to have listened to this one. :)
This is a fine expanded remake of the episode. Nice to see Whiff and Scruff have a bit more firmness with Gordon around. The Waste Dump may not be the most glamorous job on Sodor, but it's absolutely necessary.
This story was pretty good. It's nice to hear one involving around Gordon (as well as him getting his commuppence for his ignorance). Maybe for your next one, you could have it be either about Hank the American Engine or about George the Steamroller. I'd like to hear what either of them would be like (and if you do the one about George, maybe you could have Sir Topham Hatt finally tell him off about his hatred toward railways).

Engines on my railway do as they are told, boomed The Fat Controller.
Poor Gordon. When will he ever learn that Really Useful engines don't complain? Well done on that story.

This Reminds Me Of A Bad Day For Sir Handel A Little Bit
Gordon fumed crossly out of the station.
Rubbish trucks are stinking and smelly, he grumbled.
Poor Whiff and Scruff
At the wastedump for the next few weeks
Gordon does not like trucks goods trains one bit a little bit
I like your voices; they're similar to my own voices when I find the right time to do them randomly. Wherever did you get these sound effects from? If you don't mind, I feel like using them.

Of course he dislike dirty trucks that are smelly one little bit but he likes important job freight cars for an important delivery and coaches only

o the indignity one day Gordon was busy just then the 2 scrap dump engines at the dumpping yards Gordon reversed he screemed hello Gordon express coming through Gordon’s rods rattled then there was trouble sir topham hatt put on thomas’s windows I’m so sorry sir i was messy smash Gordon shout hooray there’s no money on the garbage on sodor
