Bayern played the whole passing after the whistle to score a goal against wooden planks. Wrong call by referee but that goal 1. Wouldn’t be as easy if the whistle hadn’t blown 2. It would’ve have gone extra time. With Bayern subbing all strikers.

The 9 minutes extra time were "prepared" for Real, not for Bayern - Bayern was still leading 1:0. The corrupt referee just had no time to change that back to a lower extra time after the 1:1 happened. The crazy 9 minutes had no justification at all based on how the game was going, other than to allow Real to equalize.

The funniest part is those complaining Madrid cheated are Barca fans who can’t even beat Girona banter club🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

For Bayern ruled out goal in the extra time, even if it was genuinely offside, for such a small difference in players position on the pitch, the decision should be hard to make at first instance. Not offside, you need to watch it again and study the Laws of the Game. The AR and the center referee both made mistakes. It was not offside because the Madrid player headed the ball, putting everyone onside. The AR should not have raised his flag for offside and the play should have continued. The center referee should have ignored the flag and let play continue and then let VAR review the entire sequence. We will never know if it was a goal or not because the center referee blew his whistle, thus stopping play. I suspect that the goal still would have been scored had the referee not blown his whistle as that was not a sure save by the goalkeeper. FTR - I am a certified USSF referee and have refereed hundreds of games, most as an AR. As an AR you always keep your flag down and let the play continue in that situation and then review the sequence in your head and with the center referee, if necessary, in order to get the call right. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever seen in a top level professional game. Truly horrible. While it is good that the AR apologized, it makes no difference now.

The Ref'ing Team were ultimately lacking, here.. On the other foot - Modric comes on - within minutes his whining at the ref, pointing the finger - the Ref swallows hard and changes his mind. Can anyone who understands the offside rules 100% break this down for me?: 1. ball is played from kroos forward. At this point it certainly looks as if de ligt is OFFSIDE. But Mazraoui looks ONSIDE. The ball however is headed by ferland mendy (real madrid) in a duel with Mazraoui. 2. thomas muller then heads the ball to de ligt who scores. My question is should the goal be disallowed alltogether because de ligt was in offside in the first situation, OR should it be a goal because Mazraoui was not in offside? Neither a real or bayern fan btw

That was an error from the assistant referee to flag. The main referee had to whistle i cant blame him. However how did they end up playing 15min additional time. That comtroversy should never have happened, they brought it upon themselves.

The Spanish teams have always paid the officials, it’s part of the system. You have to make sure you really win. Taking Kane and co off seemed a defensive move to me and is probably what caused the loss not so much the officiating.

I think this pressconference gives a good example why Bayern stops the contract with Tuchel. If there is a loose and it does not matter deserved or not always he is complaining about everything, injured and missing players, referees (yes this last action was really bad luck for Bayern but no one knows would this really occur a goal without waving the flag because Real really stopped playing) . You can manage those situations in another style and this is probably one major reason why he has some difficulties with the management of Bayern and also in the past in Dortmund or in Chelsea. And the last sentence he used "that would never happened on the other side" sorry but this is not really fair to Real Madrid. In Bundesliga the opponents of Bayern had simular situations over a lot of years but the coaches did not complain as Tuchel did. Not fair sportship

This is sport( in this case at a higher level). As human beings we must all be having some degree of biasness, no matter how large or small. So we tend to make arguments rightly or wrongly in support of our biases especially at gray-area instances. Refs are human beings as well and we sometimes act on instincts and those instincts which are involuntary, can be good or bad. A good instinct for me personally was one that saved me seconds out of the crocodiles jaws. We all know one cannot reverse time so we have to learn to live with some gray arear issues in life. With our naked eye we can now never tell if the assistant was right or not(unless VAR line are drawn posthumously, for academic purpose of course), whether opposing defenders would have cleared or not, whether the goal keeper would have saved or not if the whistle did not blow(here I argue instinctively). Off the mark, how many have college/university degrees or even high/low school assessment passes. Do we pass because we have successfully answered all questions correctly ? there is nothing so pristinely perfect in life

This would not happen if Hitzfeld or Heynckes was in charge of Bayern. Tuchel got all his subs wrong aside from Davies while Ancelotti got his subs right. Worst Bayern manager of this century: it's evident not just from last night but the entire season as well as the last one. If he had not brought in amateur players like Kim and Choupo, this game wouldn't even had gone to extra time. Not to mention risking de Ligt and Guerreiro in pointless Bundesliga games, which meant they missed one leg of the tie each.

what happened is unfortunate but complaining that this won't happen to real is extremely narrow sightedness. FYI, exactly the same thing happened to real against valencia this season in la liga at the extra time where bellingham scored the goal and it was not given. Also, in this match, extra time was 9 minutes but the match went for 16 minutes. how much more time is needed, another 15 minutes or perhaps another half.

They would never be able to score if ref didn't stop the game tuchel put his team under pressure with wrong tactics he's the reason his team lost last night!

Tuchel keeps lamenting over spilled milk. Firstly the disallowed Real Madrid goal was a disgrace. It was kimmich that first went for Nacho and Nacho pushed him back. The action didn’t affect the play. On the offside call does he think the Madrid defence would have allowed the shot if not for the whistle that stopped them from playing.

We will never know what would've happened had the referee not blown the whistle. This is what we do know: The AR and the center referee both made mistakes. It was not offside because the Madrid player headed the ball, putting everyone onside. The AR should not have raised his flag for offside and the play should have continued. The center referee should have ignored the flag and let play continue and then let VAR review the entire sequence. We will never know if it was a goal or not because the center referee blew his whistle, thus stopping play. I suspect that the goal still would have been scored had the referee not blown his whistle as that was not a sure save by the goalkeeper. FTR - I am a certified USSF referee and have refereed hundreds of games, most as an AR. As an AR you always keep your flag down and let the play continue in that situation and then review the sequence in your head and with the center referee, if necessary, in order to get the call right. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever seen in a top level professional game. Truly horrible. While it is good that the AR apologized, it makes no difference now. Those referees should never do another high level game again, imho.

Tuchel and all haters can donate their tears here. His a good coach for a reason not great. Of course the officials made a mistake. His comment sums up why Bayern Munich, a team of this great magnitude have decided to part ways with him. You have to respect the achievement of the opponent. That kind of arrogance will never bond well with a visionary club hiring a manager with a mediocre mentality. You lost to an opponent which played better, created more chances, scored two goals in two minutes. He made textbook mistakes, starting a non fit Gnabry, playing a injured Musiala for 80 minutes when they were fresh players on the bench with experience like Muller. The only positive about his team in this leg was Manuel and the midfielders slowing the tempo of the game to absorb pressure. They hardly created chances for a 44 goals top top quality striker Kane. Real Madrid continues to make history, hater's camp keeps growing.

Looks like the premier league crap officiating has bled to the Champions League. I'm with you, Thomas. It wouldn't have happened on the other side.
